Janilyn Hutchings, food scientist at StateFoodSafety and Certified Professional in Food Safety (CP-FS), says that pizza may be stored in the refrigerator for three to four days without losing its quality.Hutchings recommends putting it in an airtight container rather than refrigerating it in the box it arrived in to help maintain freshness.A frozen option is available if you know you will not be eating it within three to four days.

  1. ″Technically, frozen meals are safe for as long as they are kept in the freezer, but the quality of the food begins to deteriorate after a certain length of time,″ Hutchings said, adding that frozen pizza should be consumed within one to two months after being frozen.
