  3. He also informed the reporter that when he is looking at possible franchise businesses, he only invests if he genuinely loves the product and/or company under consideration.

Shaq’s net worth is just part of the picture

Despite the fact that Shaq’s net worth is out of this world, it is only one aspect of his winning strategy. He also hopes to make a positive difference in people’s lives through the ownership of franchises. The following philosophy, according to an interview with The Wall Street Journal published in 2021, also plays a significant role in his decisions: ″Whenever I conduct business, it isn’t about the money,″ says the entrepreneur.

  1. During a conversation, I overheard Jeff Bezos explain that he makes investments depending on whether or not they will have a positive impact on people’s lives.
  2. And after I started using the method, I believe I have more than doubled my current net worth.″ So, what culinary franchises does Shaquille O’Neal have under his control?
  3. According to Findingfueld.com, here’s what you should know:

Auntie Anne’s

Auntie Anne’s signature food is soft pretzels that are fresh out of the oven and bursting with tantalizing aromas. The business also sells pretzel dogs, pretzel snacks and drinks.Established in 1988, Auntie Anne’s has almost 2,000 outlets in shopping malls and transportation hubs (airports and train stations) globally.

  1. O’Neal apparently owns nine stores in Michigan and eight in Buffalo, N.Y.

Krispy Kreme

According to TMZ, O’Neal is interested in purchasing 100 units of the 83-year-old Krispy Kreme. His current franchise location is in Atlanta, and it was purchased for around $2,750,000.Fresh hot doughnuts are the franchise’s signature item, but it also serves hot and cold drinks, soft-serve ice cream, and a variety of shakes and smoothies.

  1. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, O’Neal stated that his favorite business venture is Krispy Kreme.
  2. Afterwards, he said that he did so because ″I adore doughnuts, and Charles Barkley likes doughnuts.″ And he’s one of my most important customers.
  3. ″I want to be a significant part of that business.″

Papa John’s

Given that O’Neal’s nine Papa John’s pizza restaurants are each worth in the vicinity of $800,000, it appears that he has holdings worth in the neighborhood of $7 million in total. As a brand ambassador for the 37-year-old corporation, he also serves on its board of directors, which he has done since 2019.Papa John’s restaurants were owned by another sports legend, retired NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, until his death in 2018.

Big Chicken

In an announcement, O’Neal stated that he intends to expand Big Chicken, which specializes in mega-sized chicken sandwiches that are lavishly topped with ingredients such as coleslaw and macaroni & cheese. O’Neal owns a controlling stake in the restaurant, which he launched in 2018 with his brother. He appears on camera in order to promote the cuisine.

Five Guys

The fact that O’Neal has sold himself of his Five Guys stock is important to remember because he most likely paid $100 million or more buying his part of 155 Five Guys businesses. The restaurant, which opened its doors in 1986, provides burgers, fries, and drinks at strip malls, transit hubs, sports arenas, and on college campuses around the country.

Making a difference

  • He will be prepared for each speech by being trained in advance.

And, as a member of the board of directors as well as an investor, Shaq is striving to further his personal interests.Consumer attitude improved immediately after the original announcement, according to Ritchie of Papa John’s Pizza.Additionally, the National Marketing Fund board, which is comprised of representatives from Papa John’s franchise partners and corporate workers, ″unanimously endorsed″ the move. Can Shaq’s charisma put Papa John’s back on the path to profitability, bringing the firm back to a place where it had seen 14 years of flat to positive sales growth before Shaq joined the team?Only time will tell, but this seems to be a really promising beginning.

REVIEW: Papa John’s Shaq-a-Roni Pizza

This year, the garlic sauce-soaked pizza that defined my video gaming sessions in the early 2000s received a significant improvement thanks to Shaquille O’Neal.Shaq joined Papa John’s not just as a brand ambassador, but also as a member of the company’s board of directors and a part-owner in nine franchise locations.LeBron James and a Blaze investment, who are they?!) The NBA Hall of Famer gets to shatter the backboard of the year 2020 with his first signature pizza, just a little more than a year after he signed the contract.Extra huge, more pepperoni, and extra cheese are all part of the promise of the Shaq-a-Roni Pizza, which channeled the spirit of Shaq and promises an epic experience. It appears like I’ll be in need of some extra cardio!

Apart from the fact that this pie seems like a good time, the restaurant is also contributing $1 for every pizza sold to the Papa John’s Foundation for Building Community, which will provide relief not just to our rumbling tummies, but also to the surrounding community. You can count on me to participate.First and foremost, this pizza was meant to be delivered in a customized box with Shaq’s face and the phrase ″everyone loves pizza – pizza loves everyone,″ as well as a QR code that would allow customers to access an additional level of fulfillment via Snapchat.Although the place I visited did not have the box, the pizza itself felt solid in my hands despite the absence of the box.

  • The Big New Yorker, a Pizza Hut creation that I enjoyed in the late 1990s, is the inspiration for this NY style pizza from Papa John’s.
  • Aside from the fantastic NBA tie-ins, this is Papa John’s effort at crafting a NY style pizza.
  • This pizza’s dough is stretched out thinner than your typical Papa John’s pizza, yet it still has a doughy soft chew to it, rather than the crackery grit that one might expect from a ″thin″ pizza crust.
  • The slices bounce and flop all over the place when I pick them up like James Harden driving into the lane, and even though I can’t tolerate that style of offensive, I enjoy this type of eating.
  • A massive and scary pizza with loads of pepperoni strewn throughout the surface of the cheesy environment, frequently overlapping and competing for space with one another.
  • According to expectations, the initial flavor is salty and mildly spicy, with speckled greasy pepperoni taking the lead role as I chew the pizza further.
  • My favorite thing about Papa John’s is its somewhat sweet crust, which goes well with the company’s distinctive (and complimentary!) garlic dipping sauce.
  • The crust and sauce are both exactly as excellent as I remember them to be, and they’re even better now.
  • With the overlapping ‘ronis that regulate each mouthful, the cheese has more of a gooey texture than a unique taste, but it’s more of a gooey texture than a distinct flavor.
  • This is a good take on a huge and thin, yet chewy, New York style slice, although it does stumble a little when it comes to the quantity of ingredients.
  • I admire the ″extra everything″ attitude, but I think the sauce gets lost in the mix, similar to Shaq’s free throw skills.
  • I miss the zing of sweetness and zing of acidity that brought everything together.

After a couple of slices, Papa John’s Shaq-a-Roni Pizza is tasty and something I would order again. However, it lacks that ideal balance and becomes monotonous after a while. The good news for Shaq is that, like his ability to dunk on whomever he wants, that garlic sauce changes things up anytime I want a bit more depth and keeps me going back for more.purchased for $12.00 (apparently the typical price is $27.99!) Review: Papa John’s – Shaq-a-Roni Pizza

The Shaq-a-Roni Pizza from Papa John’s is an extra-large (16-inch) pizza topped with additional cheese and more pepperoni, with the toppings reaching almost to the edge of the pizza. It comes with a cup of Papa John’s signature buttery garlic sauce and a pepperoncini, just like all of the other Papa John’s pizzas. The Shaq-a-Roni normally sells for $13, but I was given this free of charge from Papa John’s.There was a very uniform coating of pepperoni on top, which was just enough to give you a little pepperoni flavor in every mouthful without being so much that the salt overpowered the rest of the flavors. The overall flavor of the pepperoni was light, and there was no peppery spice to it at all.

Despite the fact that it was quite thin, the pepperoni crisped up slightly at the edges without becoming dry.Even though there was a uniform coating of melted cheese on the plate, I wouldn’t describe it as plenty. At first, it only achieved a tiny stretch, but like with most of the Big Four pizza companies, it largely just falls apart as you bite into it, and it gave a neutral creaminess to the whole flavor. The pizza sauce had just the right amount of sweetness, salt, and tang without leaning too much in one direction.

  • It was delicious.
  • It’s quite bland in terms of herbs and other flavors, but you can spruce it up by ordering their special seasoning, which is a combination of garlic, onion, paprika, and other spices (but also more salt.).
  • In comparison to their standard crust, the extra-large crust is a little thinner all around, with a significantly thinner end crust (I’m not sure if this is the case with their extra-large crust in general, since I can’t recall the last time I purchased an extra-large pizza from Papa John’s).
  • The crumb was soft and chewy, with air bubbles that were pretty regular in size and spacing.
  • The crust was just very little crunchy, with the most of it being squishy.
  • Also, the end crust was a little greasy, which I assume was caused by the oils released by the cheese and pepperoni that were strewn about the borders.
  • Please be advised that the smaller end crust does not leave much for dipping in the garlic sauce, so plan accordingly (although you can just dip the whole slice as you like).
  • The Shaq-a-Roni, like the ordinary Pepperoni Pizza from Papa John’s, came out to be quite standard in terms of chain pizzas, which is to say that it was delicious but not very noteworthy.
  • Having said that, I preferred it to their standard Pepperoni Pizza since the somewhat thinner crust had a more pleasing texture (more crisping and less bready), and the additional pepperoni provided flavor without feeling like a salt bomb.
  • The two extra inches over a 14-inch large resulted in a significant increase in pizza and toppings, particularly when combined with the smaller end crust.

Papa John’s Is Bringing Back This Super Popular Pizza Tomorrow

  • Featuring the largest piece of pizza ever made. The date is August 22, 2021. In the wake of a great showing in the second quarter, Papa John’s is looking for another triumph with the return of an old favorite from the limited-time menu. Shaq-a-Roni Pizza, which includes the chain’s largest slice to date, will once again be available in locations starting tomorrow, which will be a welcome return for long-time customers. The extra-large pie was created by Shaquille O’Neal himself, and it has double the quantity of ingredients found on a typical Papa John’s pizza. RELATED: This American pizza chain is now officially the largest in the world, according to official statistics. In addition, the Shaq-a-Roni delivers much bigger slices than a standard Papa John’s pizza dish. Papa John’s regular pizza is sliced into 10 slices, while its Shaq-a-Roni is divided into eight, resulting in the biggest slice the brand has ever sold, according to the company. Indeed, the serving size is appropriate for the 7-foot-1 Shaq, who serves on the chain’s Board of Directors for the second time. The Shaq-a-Roni originally appeared on the Papa John’s menu last summer and quickly became one of the chain’s most popular dishes during its brief existence. Additionally, the promotion included a charitable component: sales of the deluxe menu item contributed to the fundraising efforts of Papa John’s company-run charity, with $1 from every Shaq-a-Roni sold being donated to the Papa John’s Foundation for Building Communities, which was established in 2008. In less than two months of sales, the Shaq-a-Roni was able to raise more than $3 million for the humanitarian organization. This time around, you can feel just as happy about indulging in the massive pieces of pizza as you did before. As in previous years, Papa John’s will donate $1 from the sale of every Shaq-a-Roni to its charitable partners, who will also be prominently featured in the item’s advertising campaign. The United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the Baltimore Hunger Project, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America are among the charities that will be featured in upcoming advertisements. The special pizza will be available for purchase for $13, with costs varying depending on location. The comeback of the much-loved item comes at the tail end of a successful but trying year for Papa John’s International. Similar to other pizza and delivery-focused businesses, the company experienced considerable rise in revenues during the pandemic, as consumers increasingly preferred eating outside of the restaurant setting. The problem for Papa John’s this year has been to maintain that growth and enthusiasm in its product, especially with industry analysts predicting that it will fail. However, it appears that the chain has stayed the course thus far. It recently announced same-store sales growth of more over 5 percent, much above the 1.1 percent predicted by Wall Street. Furthermore, the firm achieved an all-time high in terms of footprint expansion this year, having already opened 123 new domestic units on top of plans to open 260 new sites internationally. If we’re talking about footprints, that’s still not quite on the same level as Shaq’s (who wears size 22). However, progress is being made.
