If you are using dough that has been refrigerated, remove it from the refrigerator 30 minutes before you begin to cook it. Dough that has been let to come to room temperature is simpler to work with.
  2. Preheat the oven to a scorching temperature. Make sure to preheat your oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit / 260 degrees Celsius, and remember to place your pizza stone (if you’re using one) in the oven while it’s heating.
  3. First Bake – Bake the dough for approximately 5 minutes without any toppings on it for the first time. Cooking the crust ahead of time allows it to withstand the weight of the toppings and remain flaky and delicious. It’s especially vital with this pizza since the ingredients will leak moisture while they cook, making it even more important.
  4. Increase the number of toppings – pile on the toppings! You may arrange them in whatever order you choose. I prefer to stack the brightly colored ingredients, placing some under the spinach leaves and others on top of the spinach.
  5. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10 to 14 minutes, or until the crust is a deep golden brown and the spinach has wilted, depending on your oven.

  3. Waters, on the other hand, was in charge of a team of pizza cooks at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, a restaurant that was known for fusing Californian and Italian cuisines to great success.
