A fast casual bespoke pizza franchise with outlets around California, Pieology, just launched two shops in San Diego, the company’s first in California (Sports Arena and Balboa).There are already a slew of custom fast casual pizza places in San Diego, but I’d heard a lot of good things about this particular one, so I was eager to give it a shot.The setup is really similar to all of the other ones I’ve gone to in terms of design.You have the option of selecting a pre-made pie or creating your own.A personalized pie with limitless toppings will only set you back $7.50 per pie.
You make your way down the assembly line, selecting cheeses, toppings, and even after-bake toppers to add a little extra taste to your creation.Because there is no additional payment for additional toppings, one needs exercise significant self-control not to request the full line of toppings.Once your order has been completed, the pizzas are placed in the oven to bake until they are done.
