- For the past ten years, Rick Barsness, the founder and owner of Incredible Pizza Company, has been seeking for a facility in the Kansas City area, he said.
- ‘When this property became available, it was a fantastic match for us because the area had been designed specifically for family entertainment,’ Barsness explained.
- ″We have a capacity of 2,000 persons in this facility.″ The corporation has ″gutted″ the whole plant and invested $4 million in a renovation project.

Also new is the addition of an activity schedule – which, regrettably, does not cover all of the rides, such as the roller coaster – for guests to follow.But I completely understand why you’re doing it.The personnel walking around washing off each of the games as people completed them was a welcome sight as we moved through the arcade and carnival.To be quite honest, I like knowing the schedule since it allowed me to better plan out how much time we would be spending there.So, for example, when we came, the Go-Karts were just getting started, so my kid was the first one to go racing in them.
- Following our completion of the project, we went out to lunch and played games until he was ready to participate in Bumper Cars.
- After Bumper Cars, we ate dessert as we waited for the next round of Go-Karts, which was another hour and a half.

Rick and Cheryl Barsness, proprietors of America’s Incredible Pizza Company (AIPC), have more than four decades of experience in the pizza industry under their collective belts.However, it was the unconventional concept of incorporating games into the mix some 30 years ago that paved the way for their current popularity.In attendance at the F2FEC conference, where Rick Barness frequently offers specifics on what works in his sites, Cheryl and Rick Barness.Rick began his career as a manager of a Hardee’s fast food restaurant while attending the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where he was born and raised.When he met and married Cheryl, he and Cheryl relocated to Austin, where Rick worked as the personnel manager for Mr.

The response he received was unanimous: ″’You’re going to create a 40,000-square-foot pizza restaurant?’″ he recalls.″I recall taking us to nine different banks, and every single one of them turned us down.″ Finally, one of the local banks agreed to take care of it.According to Barsness, ″it was a great success straight out of the gate.″ Their 40,000 square foot facility, comparable to Mr.
