    Cooking chicken thighs in an Ooni oven is a fantastic experience since they are tasty when cooked at a high temperature and, unlike chicken breasts, they are very forgiving and difficult to overcook.I’ve prepared marinated chicken thighs in my Ooni Fyra several times now, and they’ve always come out succulent and moist.Prepare five to six bone-in or boneless chicken thighs by marinating them in your favorite marinade (I personally like a chicken tikka marinade).

    5. Then, using a pair of tongs, carefully turn the chicken thighs over and cook for another two minutes on the other side.
    6. Remove the chicken from the oven and check the internal temperature, which should be around 170°F/77°C.

    Cooking shrimp on a cast iron pan in an Ooni pizza oven is a great way to prepare them.All you have to do is marinade a pound of raw shrimp in the spices of your choosing, grill them on medium-high heat for a few minutes each side and you’ll have perfectly cooked, flame-broiled shrimp.In this Honey Cajun Grilled Shrimp marinade from Rasa Malaysia, I prefer to marinate one pound (about 500 grams) of fresh shrimp for many hours.

    1. While your shrimp is marinating, prepare your Ooni to the highest temperature it can tolerate – around 900°F/482°C.
    2. Once the oven is preheated and the shrimp are ready, place your cast iron pan on the pizza stone for five minutes to toast before continuing with the recipe.
    3. Remove the pan from the oven and add the marinated shrimp to the mixture.
    4. Cook the shrimp for roughly two minutes on high heat with a rolling flame until they are pink.
    5. After two minutes, using a pair of tongs, move the shrimp and cook them for another minute or two on the other side until they are pink.
    6. As soon as the shrimp are cooked to your satisfaction, remove them from the oven and serve them while they are still hot and sizzling.

    5. Salsa Verde

    6. Allow all of the vegetables to cool for a few minutes before blending or processing them with the juice of one lime, a tablespoon of chopped cilantro leaves, a teaspoon of salt, and the rest of the vegetables in a blender.

    9. Cast Iron Skillet Cookie

    In your Ooni pizza oven, you can bake a delicious cast iron skillet cookie using either handmade or store-bought cookie dough, depending on your preference.When baking a skillet cookie, lower heat and no flame are required, making it an excellent choice for utilizing the remaining heat from your oven after you’ve finished cooking pizza.Use butter to lightly coat the inside of a cast iron skillet.

    1. Then, evenly distribute the cookie dough in a 1/2-inch layer throughout the skillet by pressing it down.
    2. Whenever the stone temperature in your Ooni pizza oven reaches roughly 750°F/400°C, you may place your cookie skillet on top of the stone.
