Using a Pampered Chef Pizza Stone The Right Way

The following is the quickest and most straightforward method of using a Pampered Chef Pizza Stone:

  1. The oven should be preheated at 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Prepare the stone by spreading flour and cornmeal on it. This helps to keep the dough from sticking together.
  3. Make a well in the center of the stone and knead the dough down around the perimeter of the stone.
  4. Stretch the dough until it forms a rim around the edge of the pie crust.
  5. Place the sauce, toppings, and cheese on top of the pizza in any sequence you think is best
  6. Place a pizza stone in the middle of the oven. Bake until the pizza is golden brown, which takes around 12-18 minutes on average.

That’s pretty much all there is to it when it comes to making a pizza on a Pampered Chef. Cleaning a pizza stone, on the other hand, is a little more complicated and critical since it will ensure that your pizza stone has a long and healthy life.

How to Clean a Pampered Chef Pizza Stone

  • It is important to clean your pizza stone after each usage in order to guarantee that it lasts a long time and does not retain any food particles that might spoil your next pizza. Before you can begin cleaning the stone, you’ll need to gather a few supplies. Although you will require all of them for each session, you will not require them all at the same time. It’s just worth keeping them on hand in case you come upon any particularly obstinate bits of food while exploring. Plastic spatula – metal spatulas should be avoided as they might harm your stone.
  • Dough scraper, damp rag, stone brush, blunt table knife, sandpaper, scouring pads, and a toothbrush are all useful tools.

Cleaning the Stone

  1. Allow the stone to cool to room temperature before using it again. Because the temperature reached just above 400 degrees, this may take many hours, so refrain from handling it for a few hours.
  2. Use a moist towel or dough scraper to remove food particles from the surface of the water.
  3. Make a paste out of 1 teaspoon of water and 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  4. set it aside.
  5. Distribute the paste over any stains or flaking that you see. Flaking is a process that you will only notice after years of usage, and it has the potential to harm the seasoning you have applied. Allow approximately 15 minutes of resting time for the paste.
  6. Remove the paste with a damp cloth. Allow the stone to dry after rinsing it with warm water.

Because this is a clay stone, it does not absorb water in the same manner that other stones do, making it less hazardous to the environment. Generally speaking, you want to maintain it as dry as possible at all times.

Seasoning Maintenance

Because it’s constructed of clay, a Pampered Chef pizza stone will lose its flavour over time.Because it is porous, the flavor of the meal that has been prepared on it is transferred to the surface. This is why it might be beneficial to prepare other foods that will enhance the flavor of the meal, such as a batch of buttery dozen cookies. There are several foods you should avoid cooking on it, unless you want a pizza that tastes like a mackerel you found off the coast of Vancouver Island. However, thorough cleaning may extend the life of the seasoning, which is why it’s so vital to maintain your stone clean on a regular basis.

One of the most significant disadvantages of the Pampered Chef is that, while it holds heat well and produces a delicious, crispy top, the heat is typically spread unevenly throughout the dish. When you’re attempting to build a pizza with a large number of toppings, this can be a huge problem. The product is a reliable cooking appliance that produces a lot of flavor, especially during the first few years of ownership.

A tool that only experienced chefs like working with, clay may result in some truly outstanding meals in the hands of those who have a natural flair for it.

5 Reasons I Love My Pampered Chef Stone + An Online Party

Unfortunately, I just learned that my almost eight-year-old Pampered Chef stone wasn’t invincible after all, and that it had fractured into three pieces right in the middle of dinner preparation.HELP ME OUT HERE.WHAT ARE WE GOING TO EAT?Without getting too serious, I use our stone virtually every day, so this sounded like a first-world problem to me.The fact that I don’t directly know anyone who sells Pampered Chef products seems weird to me, so I immediately turned to Instagram Stories to see if anyone had a contact (what a wonderful time to be living in the age of social media and resources like IG stories).

We use our stone so (!) frequently that I realized we needed to replace it as soon as possible.Emily set me up with Samantha, and this gorgeous queen (who happens to be my Pampered Chef stone) arrived only a few of days after that. For the time being, my mother offered to let me use her stone because she knows how frequently my husband and I use ours.

In my household, we take our Pampered Chef stones very seriously!) As soon as the messages began to arrive, I was taken aback by how many people were interested in learning why I was so enthusiastic about my Pampered Chef stone.(Excuse me, but, what?!).You don’t have access to a stone? My friends, we need to have a serious discussion about this.) A handful of ladies admitted that they had one but had never used it; others stated that they were intrigued in purchasing one but didn’t understand what the big deal was; and yet others stated that they just didn’t know what to cook on it.If you’d want me to write a blog entry, you don’t have to twist my arm in the slightest to hear me blab incessantly about the ″love of my life: kitchen edition.″

Here are five things I love about my Pampered Chef stone.

I can cook everything on it.

And by everything, I mean everything. Cooked and seasoned chicken, cookies, handmade pizza, frozen meals (such as fish sticks or chicken nuggets), pre-made cinnamon buns and biscuits, and roasted veggies are among our favorite dishes.

Everything looks and tastes better.

Occasionally, when I’m cooking pizza or cookies and have enough dough or batter to fill a second pan, I’m compelled to use a metal pan instead of a stone because I don’t want to have to wait to use the stone for a second baking session. On every single occasion, I am amazed by the contrast between the appearance and flavor of the meal after it has been cooked on a stone vs in a metal pan.Even if I’ve covered the pan with foil (which is a pain in and of itself since I’m lazy), the difference in how it looks and tastes is night and day in comparison to the original.

You don’t have to spray it.

That’s a little bit of a stretch, to say the least. It is advised that you spray it the first few times you use it since the non-glazed surface has not yet been ″worked in.″ Even while Pampered Chef stoneware is meant to last a lifetime, it does grow better with age.The finer the stone, the darker it is!It becomes organically seasoned with each usage, and after a few applications, it will no longer require any type of spraying at all. This is fantastic!

It’s easy to clean.

It’s really simple. It comes with a brown scraper, which is also an absolute must-have for every kitchen. Simply allow the stone to cool before rinsing it with lukewarm water and a pinch of baking soda, then scraping it with a scraper as needed. You’re ready to go as soon as you towel dry.

It’s easy to store.

My mother always did this while I was growing up, and it is something I have continued to do: we store our Pampered Chef stone directly in our oven!Because I’m almost certainly going to use it to cook, I take it out shortly before I preheat the oven, fill it with whatever I’m cooking, and then put it back in.It works well.Whenever I’m not using it, I simply set it aside until I’m finished with the oven.Easy!

Something to note

When you dramatically alter the temperature of Pampered Chef stones, they become unresponsive. It is not suggested that you bake it in an oven that is hotter than 450 degrees. Additionally, if you place a heated stone under cold water, it will break. In fact, this is how I faintly recall my father delivering a joke when I was younger — whoops! Dad is in serious danger.)

Party time!

I felt it was a bit crazy to gush about how much I like this stone without providing you with a way to purchase one, so I organized a small online party with Samantha, if you’re interested in participating.Similar to attending a Pampered Chef party in someone’s house, I am officially the hostess of this party, and I will earn hostess rewards if you place an order with Pampered Chef (just being transparent.)

May I suggest…

This white large round stone from Pampered Chef is the one I recently purchased, and I love that it has slightly raised edges (which makes it perfect for cooking juicy chicken or pizza dough). The one I used to have was this Pampered Chef Large Round Stone, which is a little less expensive than my current one.I recommend it.It’s obvious that I enjoyed it a great deal!I swear to you, these Pampered Chef adjustable measuring spoons are the last measuring spoons you’ll ever need in your life, and I mean it.

In the four years after our wedding, they have proven to be the most excellent of their kind. This slim scraper is another tool that I use and enjoy. It’s quite convenient!

I hope you enjoy reading my ramblings. Our new house, what’s on our kitchen table, what’s hanging in our closets, where we’re going next, my insane 5 a.m.work outs, how I find time for pals, our faith, and much more are all covered in this episode.

Having a lot of balls in the air is second nature to us.In fact, we thrive in chaos. It is my belief in the power of story-telling as a source of inspiration and pleasure that has brought me here to do both!Originally from north Alabama, I recently re-established roots here when my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserves, and everything is going swimmingly!).Three adorable girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who appear to be the center of attention around here (and for good cause – they’re quite awesome!) make me extremely proud as their mother.I’m so delighted you discovered me and are taking the time to read this!

  1. As we become acquainted here on the site, as well as on Facebook and/or Instagram, I hope we may become friends.
  2. xoxo
