    • When it comes to the pizza toppings you may use with this recipe, the sky is the limit! Prepared bacon, prepared seasoned ground beef, prepared ham, prepared Italian sausage, prepared meatballs, prepared chicken, pineapple, olives, broccoli, mushrooms, barbecue sauce, Alfredo Sauce, and other ingredients as desired.

    Recipe Tips

    • Prepare the pizza in the air fryer by assembling it. It is not recommended to build it outside of the air fryer and then move it inside. This is something I’ve experienced and would not suggest. It’s much easier to get the dough into the basket and then put all of your toppings directly within the basket itself.
    • To take the pizza from the air fryer, use TWO spatulas to do it. These aren’t your typical mini-pizzas. If you attempt to remove the pizza with only one spatula, you risk losing some of the toppings. Placing a spatula underneath both sides of the pizza and delicately lifting it out onto a platter
    • Every air fryer is unique in its own way. My Ninja Foodi Air Fryer cooks this pizza wonderfully in 7 minutes, according to the package directions. Keep an eye on the pizza by stopping over to check on it from time to time. It is possible that your air fryer will require a little longer or shorter cooking time
    • while preparing the pizza dough, make sure that it will fit in the air fryer basket before proceeding. Don’t be concerned if the circle isn’t perfectly round. It will still taste delicious if you omit the extra virgin olive oil, which you can do if you choose. Despite the fact that my air fryer is non-stick, I still throw it in there for taste and to ensure that it does not stick. Occasionally, food will adhere to my nonstick basket despite my efforts
    • whatever you do, DO NOT use an aerosol cooking spray (such as PAM) in your air fryer. It will deteriorate the coating.
    • Make use of cheese that you have shredded yourself! The pre-shredded cheeses have other additives, and I have found that they do not melt as well as fresh cheese.

Can You Make This Pizza Ahead of Time?

Prepare all of the toppings ahead of time, however I recommend assembling the pizza just before you start cooking. If you want the finest benefits, prepare it just before you intend to consume it.

How Long to Cook Pizza in the Air Fryer?

I discovered that 7 minutes was the optimal cooking time for my Ninja Foodi Air Fryer. Check on your pizza from time to time to determine whether it need more or less cooking time, as cooking timings for different air fryer manufacturers might vary.

How To Make Air Fryer Calzones

Calzones cooked in the air fryer are a popular snack or dinner among all members of the family and are quick to prepare. But first, allow me to clarify the distinction between a Calzone and a Stromboli (stuffed pizza). When reduced to their most basic form, Calzones are pizza pockets that have been filled with all of your favorite toppings and folded into a semi-circle.

The ingredients of Stromboli are the same as in ravioli, but they are folded in a circular, burrito-like shape in Stromboli.Despite the fact that both are wonderful, we decided that making Calzones would be the best option because each member of my family like various pizza toppings.

How to Make Air Fryer Calzones

When I attempted to make Air Fryer Calzones for the first time, the results were less than satisfactory.First and foremost, I crammed far too many toppings into each pizza pocket. They flowed out of the basket while they were cooking, creating a tremendous mess on the stovetop.

Consequently, the following time I prepared them, I reduced the amount of filling that I used.Despite the fact that the contents did not fall out, the handmade dough that I used was rolled out too thin and baked much more quickly than I had anticipated. As a result, the crust was overdone, and the contents were undercooked.I was, nevertheless, determined to make this work. So, after three failed attempts, I finally succeeded in making Air Fryer Calzones that were very delicious!

    Use Refrigerator Pizza Crust Dough

This time around, I used pre-made refrigerated pizza dough from the grocery. That is, the sort that is sold in long, narrow rolls next to the cans of cinnamon buns and biscuits at your local grocery store. To make the pizza dough a bit thinner, I rolled out the huge rectangular piece of dough and slightly rolled it out to make it little thinner.

Then I used a biscuit cutter to cut out huge circles for Air Fryer Calzones, which I baked in the oven. However, if you do not have a biscuit cutter, a large round cookie cutter or even the lip of a large drinking glass with a broad rim can be used in its place.Once you’ve cut out your circles, spread 1-2 tablespoons of pizza or marinara sauce on one side of each round. If you don’t care the typical pizza sauce, you may substitute Alfredo or Garlic sauce, which would work just as well. After that, you can add any additional toppings that you choose.

Just keep in mind not to stuff the Calzones too much!Take the circle and carefully fold it into a semi-circular shape once you’ve placed all of our toppings on it.Before putting the Calzones in the Air Fryer, seal the edges by squeezing them together or pushing them with a fork.

    Air Fryer Instructions

Preheat your Air Fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes. Then spray your basket with a little olive oil non-stick spray to prevent it from sticking.Place as many Calzones as you can in the basket in a single layer, and then close the basket.

To ensure that they cook correctly, make sure to leave at least 1/2 inch between each one. With our Ninja Foodi 6.5 quart Multi-cooker, we had enough space in the basket to accomodate four Calzones!Cook for roughly 6 minutes at a medium heat. However, bear in mind that each Air Fryer cooks at a different rate, as is usually the case.Make careful to check on them on a regular basis to avoid the crust from burning.

Remove the Calzones from the Air Fryer after they have reached a wonderful golden brown color and serve them with marinara sauce for dipping!!And if you like this dish, you’ll adore our Air Fryer Pizza Sticks, which are quick and easy to prepare. In order to receive our 3 Recipe Articles in your inbox each week, sign up for our free email list, which can be found on the sidebar and bottom of each recipe page. You may also find us on social media sites such as Facebook and Pinterest. This post may include affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the links and purchase a product, a tiny compensation is given to the author at no additional cost to you.

How Long Do You Cook Frozen Pizza In An Airfryer?

So let’s start by figuring out how much time you’ll need to prepare frozen pizza in your air fryer. The amount of time it takes to cook a frozen pizza depends on the size and weight of the pizza.Preparation time for tiny pizzas up to six inches in diameter is between 5-8 minutes in most cases.

Cooking time for a 7-inch pizza is 7-10 minutes, while cooking time for pizza rolls is 12-16 minutes. The quickest and most accurate method of determining cooking time is to start with the shortest cooking time.If you want your pizza to be crispier, cook it for a few minutes longer.

    What You’ll Need

Cooking using an air fryer Air fryers are quite useful to have around the house. You can cook anything in your air fryer, from frozen items to raw meat, with little or no oil, and it will taste delicious. In only a few minutes, you can cook frozen pizza or reheat frozen pizza in the air fryer.

An air fryer is simple to use and cook with, although different models may have a variety of different settings and capabilities. It is the Ninja AF101 that I use, which has a large capacity of four quartz and is very easy to clean. This unit is one of my favorites since it comes with a crisper plate, which allows you to get the perfect brown crisp on the bottom of your pizza.Pizza from a can There are several excellent frozen pizza brands available on the market, including DiGiorno, Jack’s, and Red Baron. You can use any brand of frozen pizza that you like best for this recipe.

Those looking for something a little healthier can search for a thinner crust with vegetables like spinach and bell peppers on top. When it comes to purchasing frozen pizza, less is more. Some pizzas may be crammed with toppings, but they may also be mushy, and beef tends to have a greater salt level than other types of meat.Consider including your favorite toppings on your pizza to make it more nutritious.Extra Toppings (Optional) (optional) If you want to make your pizza a little more special, you may top it with some extra ingredients. For this reason, I propose that you make your own pizza toppings because most premade pizzas only have a few veggies on them.

    1. My favorite toppings are as follows: Mushrooms Mushrooms add a savory umami flavor to your pizza creation.
    2. Whole mushrooms should be used instead of pre-sliced mushrooms since they have a fresher flavor and will not dry out.
    3. Portobello, Chanterelles, and Porcini mushrooms are the best mushrooms to use on pizza.

Cheese A pizza is never complete unless it has cheese on it.There are many different varieties of cheese from which to pick.Mozzarella, Parmigiano-Reggiano-Reggiano, and Gorgonzola are some of my favorite cheeses. If you’re looking for something salty, go for parmesan cheese.

Prosciutto Prosciutto is a dry-cured ham that is popular in Italian cuisine. The delicate quality of this meat, when thinly sliced, causes it to melt in your mouth as you chew. The greatest prosciutto should have a rich pink color and a delicious aroma. If you are unable to get any prosciutto in your region, bacon pieces might be substituted.

Basil leaves that have been freshly harvested (optional) Fresh basil leaves are my favorite way to finish off a pizza before serving it.They give the pizza a peppery taste and make it appear more attractive in appearance. If you have a basil plant at home, pick the leaves first thing in the morning to get the most taste out of them.

    Step-By-Step Instructions

What is the best way to cook frozen pizza in an air fryer? Here are the basic steps you may take to get started.1.

Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees.Set your air fryer to its maximum temperature and let it to run for 2-5 minutes. The temperature of my Ninja air fryer was set to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for three minutes total. To begin the preheating procedure, press the Start button on your keyboard.2.

Make the pizza dough. As you wait for the air fryer to heat up, take your frozen pizza out of the freezer and peel away the plastic wrap.By the time you’re ready to start cooking the pizza, the preheating will be completed.Add your favorite toppings, like as mushrooms, prosciutto, and cheese, to complete the dish.Make sure they’re cut thinly so that they don’t overpower the rest of the pizza.3.

    1. Prepare the Air Fryer Basket by filling it with ingredients.
    2. After preheating, remove the frozen pizza from the freezer and place it in the air fryer basket.
    3. The pizza can also be placed into the crisper plate before being placed into the air fryer basket.
See also:  How To Grill Home Run Inn Pizza?

The crisper plate will elevate the food in the basket, enabling more air to circulate and crisp up the crust.4.Prepare the Pizza The temperature should be set to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and the duration should be set to five minutes.Start with five minutes and, if required, extend the period to ten or fifteen minutes.

    What Is a Corn Dog?

Basically, it’s a hot dog on a stick that’s been deep-fried after being dipped in a thick layer of cornmeal batter.Using hot dogs that have been hung upside down and battered before being dropped into hot oil and cooked till golden brown, the frozen corn dogs that you can purchase at the grocery store are created. The now-cooked corn dogs are taken from the frying equipment and flash-frozen in a blast chiller before being packed for retail distribution.

    Who Invented the Corn Dog?

You can’t blame anybody for wanting to be the one and only actual inventor of corn dogs, since who wouldn’t want to be hailed as a national hero in the United States of America’s hot dog culture? Many people have claimed to be the creative geniuses behind the delectableness, but no single individual can claim complete credit.Corny dogs were first served at the Texas State Fair in 1942, thanks to the efforts of brothers Carl and Neil Fletcher.

The audience erupted in applause!Despite the fact that the Fletcher brothers felt they had invented something new, they were not the first persons to cook a corn dog.George and Versa Boyington, a husband and wife team from Rockaway Beach, Oregon, claimed to have created the corn dog in the 1930s while working at a hot dog stand there. After a downpour ruined all of the hot dog stand’s buns, George came up with the concept of manufacturing ″buns″ to order by dipping the franks in a pancake batter-based mixture and baking them to order. The ″Pronto Pup″ was the name he gave to his creation.

Printable Directions for Making Air Fryer Pizza Breadsticks

    • 10 mozzarella cheese sticks
    • 1 tube or roll refrigerated pizza crust dough
    • 2 Tbsp. butter
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
    • pizza or marinara sauce for dipping
    • 1 tube or roll refrigerated pizza crust dough
    • Spread the pizza dough out on a clean, dry surface that has been very gently sprinkled with a little flour to prevent sticking. Unroll the dough, rolling it out a little with your rolling pin, and then cut it in half lengthwise with your knife. Each dough half should be divided into 5 rectangles.
    • Four pepperoni slices should be overlapped in a row on each rectangle of dough, and a mozzarella cheese stick should be placed on top of the pepperoni slices.
    • To assemble, begin with the long side of the pizza dough and roll it over the pepperoni and cheese stick, pressing the seams together on the bottom, folding each end of the dough over, and pinching the dough closed to seal it all together. In any other case, when the cheese melts within, it may escape onto your baking sheet and burn you.
    • Remove from heat and add the garlic powder and dry parsley, stirring constantly. Using the melted butter mixture, brush the tops of each pizza stick with a light coating.
    • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. On a baking rack, bake the bread sticks for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown. (Spread the breadsticks out so that they don’t come into contact with one another.) In certain cases, you may need to bake the breadsticks in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
