  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh basil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Place tomato slices in a circle on the pie dough, slightly overlapping each other, and repeat until the pie shell is fully covered. Drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Cover with olives, green pepper, and onion, if preferred, to finish. Basil should be sprinkled on top.
  2. Add mozzarella and cheddar cheeses on top and bake for another 15 minutes. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees, or until the cheese is melted. Serve as soon as possible
