Pizza buffets and entertainment facilities are among the options for dining. The first restaurant, located in Springfield, opened its doors in 2002. The firm employs 1,200 people and generates sales of $64.1 million each year.

History

  1. Rick and Cheryl Barsness are the owners of America’s Incredible Pizza Company, which has its headquarters in Springfield, Missouri.
  2. The pair started out in the pizza industry with a single store in Victoria, Texas, and by 1975, they had grown to possess 11 Gatti’s Pizza franchises around the country.
  3. Rick Barsness, the organization’s creator, had a concept that became a reality.
  4. When Barsness was a high school hockey player, his team advanced to the state championships, but his father never came to a single game to support his son.
  5. Because of his father’s absence, he was able to realize a childhood ambition of opening a restaurant where families could dine and have fun together.

For Barsness, this was the kind of spot where it would have been ideal to spend time with his father.: 2 Years of court fights came to an end in 2003 when Rick Barsness decided to pay Gatti’s a one-million-dollar settlement after years of litigation. In a lawsuit against Barsness, Mr.Gatti’s claimed that the company had broken their franchise agreement and had stolen trade secrets.Along with the $1 million payment, Barsness committed to pay Mr.

  1. Gatti’s Inc.
  2. 1 percent of IPC’s net sales for the following 10 years, in addition to the $1 million payment.
  3. AIPC began franchising in 2003 and moved its corporate headquarters to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the following year.
  4. In 2009, the company relocated its headquarters to Springfield, Missouri.
  5. AIPC restaurants employ an average of 250 people, and it costs between $5 million and $9 million to open an AIPC restaurant.

The Lafayette Square Mall store of America’s Incredible Pizza in Indianapolis will close on March 19, 2012, according to the company.

Locations and format

  1. As of May 2021, nine of the company’s more than twenty-five total facilities are still in business in the United States, with three remaining in Mexico.
  2. The AIPC is themed around the 1950s, which is reflected in the music and décor.
  3. Customers may eat at the AIPC’s buffet-style pizza, spaghetti, salad, and dessert bar, which offers many seating locations for them to choose from.
  4. The Starlite Drive-In, Family Room, Diner, and Gym are some of the amenities available.
  5. There are 30 different varieties of pizza available, as well as an 80-item salad bar.

A restaurant operated by the AIPC typically occupies a floor space of 65,000 to 70,000 square feet (6,000 to 6,500 m2).The restaurant is a smoke- and alcohol-free environment. An arcade, go-karts, billiards, bowling, and miniature golf are among the activities available at the facility.

Incredible Pizza Company Foundation

  1. Rick and Cheryl Barsness, co-founders of the Incredible Pizza Company, established the Incredible Pizza Company Foundation (IPC Foundation) in the fall of 2007 with the objective of giving to missions and orphanages across the world.

  3. When the IPCF gave $6,500 to Care to Learn, a fund operated by the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools, it was in September of that year.
  4. In 2008 and 2009, America’s Incredible Pizza Company served as the major sponsor of CJM Racing’s number 11 car in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, which he won.
  5. At the inauguration of the Incredible Pizza 15th location in Mesquite, Texas, on June 17, 2008, Jason Keller, the driver of the automobile sponsored by Incredible Pizza, was on hand to help celebrate the occasion.

The AIPC-supported racing team finished 17th in the 2008 NASCAR season, which was the first time the organization has sponsored a full season.Joe Gibbs Racing announced a partnership with CJM Racing and AIPC in July 2008.One of the drivers that participated in the cooperation between the two racing teams was Scott Lagasse Jr., a NASCAR driver who finished 13th in the No.11 America’s Incredible Pizza Company Chevrolet at Charlotte Motor Speedway in October 2008.

Is John’s Incredible Pizza ‘closed for good’? Victorville building on market for $2.9M

      1. The presence of a for sale sign in front of John’s Incredible Pizza Company, an entertainment-themed restaurant that first opened its doors on Bear Valley Road in Victorville over 23 years ago, may signal the end of the establishment.
      2. In an interview with the Daily Press on Wednesday, CPI Capital Properties President John Connolly said the multi-colored 15,439-square-foot building that once housed the restaurant is now on the market for just over $2.9 million.
      3. The building is located about a block east of Interstate 15 and once housed the restaurant.
      4. The transaction is being handled by CPI Capital, which is situated in Victorville and specializes in real estate management, leasing, sales, and investment.
      5. ″John’s is permanently closed,″ Connolly announced.

″The building was owned by John Parlet’s ex-wife, but he was still the renter at the time of the restaurant’s closure as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak,″ says the author. In light of the foregoing, Connolly stated that he has received and continues to entertain offers from potential buyers who may be interested in preserving John’s Incredible Pizza in its current form, or reopening the business as another restaurant with a similar theme but operating under a different name.Another type of commercial use permitted under the area’s commercial zoning is the establishment of a skating rink, bowling alley, or arcade, among other things. In an interview with the Daily Press on Friday, Brad Jashinsky, the director of sales and marketing for John’s Incredible Pizza, stated that he didn’t have much information about the restaurant’s sale.

      1. In accordance with the state’s reopening standards, Jashinsky expects to reopen when San Bernardino County reaches the orange tier.
      2. ″We anticipate that we will remain as the tenant under the new owner of the property,″ Jashinsky said.
      3. Connolly stated that if the restaurant were to reopen after being shuttered for more than seven months, it would not be instantly ready to do so whether the county gave the go-ahead to the existing or new owner.
      4. According to Connolly, ″you don’t shut down a restaurant for months and then expect to perform a lot of prep work before you can reopen.″ The system is ″plug and play,″ but it will ″take some time″ until it is completely operational, according to the developer.
      5. It is estimated that the single-story building will cost in the multimillion-dollar range.

The price tag will include all of the kitchen equipment as well as tables and chairs for booths, plates, silverware, and other kitchenware, as well as everything else associated with the restaurant operation, according to Connolly. The arcade games, bumper cars, and prizes that helped distinguish John’s Incredible from other High Desert pizza restaurants are not included in the price of admission.″John would agree, however, to sell the products in the arcade if there is a demand for them,″ Connolly said, adding that the objects in the arcade did not have a set sales price associated with them. Before closing its doors in March due to the COVID-19 epidemic, John’s Incredible Pizza spent decades bringing joy to its customers with party rooms, video games, bumper cars, and other games and activities. It also included a buffet that included pizza, pasta, fried chicken, salad, soup, and desserts, among other things.According to several parents, including Abby Lopez of Hesperia, the diner was also considered as a popular neighborhood venue for birthday parties and other celebrations.

      • ″All three of my sons spent their birthdays at John’s Incredible Pizza,″ said Lopez, a retired office manager.
      • ″John’s Incredible Pizza is a family tradition.″ I remember renting out a few of party rooms and the kids would eat pizza, eat cake, open presents, play games with their pals, and have a great time for hours.″ However, as her children reached the age of majority, they lost interest in the venue, she said.
      • ″The games, rather than the food, are the primary attraction at John’s Pizza,″ remarked Samantha Howell, of Adelanto.
      • If the restaurant opens for takeout or outside eating, no one will come eat there unless there are games and activities for the kids, according to a business spokesperson.
      • Those who have lived in the Victor Valley for a long time may recall the building’s prior occupant: The Bushel Basket, which operated out of the Bear Valley Road location before 1997.

Victorville was one of 14 John’s Incredible Pizza locations that were shuttered in March as a result of statewide limitations put in place to stem the spread of COVID-19.There were 16 locations total. As of Tuesday, the only sites that were open for food, games, and rides were those in Roseville, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada.A corporate representative wrote on the John’s Pizza Victorville Yelp page in July that there had been no verified occurrences of COVID-19 at any of the locations, and that this was supported by company data.According to Eater Las Vegas, the 60,000-square-foot John’s Incredible Pizza at the Boulevard Mall in Las Vegas reopened in July with a modified buffet to ensure that it could continue to operate securely throughout the coronavirus outbreak.

          Meet John Parlet

          1. Introducing John Parlet, the visionary behind the ″Incredible″ concept.
          2. Owner and creator of John’s Incredible Pizza Company, based in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, John Parlet has been in the pizza business for over 30 years.
          3. John’s Incredible Pizza Company now has 10 locations, nine of which are in California and the newest of which is in Oregon, with hopes to grow throughout the United States in the future.
          4. Moving forward, John’s ambition is to create at least three locations each year and to establish himself as one of the most known brands in the market for family eating and entertainment in the process.
          5. Winner, South Dakota native John has had a long and successful restaurant career that began more than 40 years ago in his birthplace of Winner.

Following a brief term in college, John worked in a number of occupations, including those as a lab technician and an insurance salesman, before deciding to pursue a career in the restaurant sector. In 1969, he was employed as the assistant manager of a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in his hometown, and the rest, as they say, is history. The corporation promoted John swiftly during his three years there, and he finally rose to the position of Midwest field supervisor, where he assisted in the opening of new franchises. In spite of his limited culinary knowledge in those early years, John understood what he wanted to achieve and was certain that he would be successful in his endeavors.

          1. John’s first foray into the restaurant business occurred when he was just 21 years old, when a buddy contacted him about purchasing his steakhouse.
          2. To balance his desire to be self-sufficient with his desire to be safe, John employed an assistant manager and continued to work at Kentucky Fried Chicken until finally becoming the restaurant’s full-time owner and manager.
          3. However, despite the success of his steakhouse venture, John had decided that he wanted to sell pizza rather than steak, and so he volunteered at a nearby Italian restaurant to obtain the skills he would need to realize his ambition.
          4. As a result, he relocated to Ridgecrest, California, where he launched his first pizza restaurant, John’s Pizza Parlor, in 1972.
          5. After that, he experimented with similar businesses in the surrounding region for the following 16 years, eventually developing the model that is now used by his establishments.

After visiting a buddy who operated a 300-store chain of pizza and gaming restaurants, John came up with the idea for John’s Incredible Pizza Company. He launched the company in 1995.During his research, John learned about the company’s concept of providing more than simply pizza to its customers. As a result of building on and expanding upon these concepts, John came up with the original concept for John’s Incredible Pizza Company, which was inspired by all he had learnt over his 25-year restaurant career. When John initially opened the doors of the first John’s Incredible Pizza Company in Victorville in 1997, it was a huge success. In 1998, a 26,000-square-foot store opened in Bakersfield, and in 2000, an even larger 53,000-square-foot store opened in Fresno, which served as the company’s prototype facility.

          • Over the years, other sites were added, the most recent of which opened in Beaverton, Oregon in March 2011.
          • Outside of his restaurants, John has been involved in a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors over the years, including a 32-lane bowling alley, a five-screen cinema, and a computer retail store, among other things.
          • In 1985, he founded China Lake Systems and invented the RapidFire point-of-sale system, which is now utilized in over 3,000 restaurants in all 50 states and in the United Kingdom.
          • With no formal college degree, John has had to work even harder to be successful in his pursuits of his ambitions in life.
          • After learning painful lessons and having his own mistakes, John attributes his success to his ability to surround himself with positive people and to persevere through challenging situations.

″I believe that anybody who wants to be successful in business or in life must continue, knock on doors, and never accept a ″no″ as an answer.I think that one should constantly look ahead—not only to tomorrow, but also to the years ahead of us.″
