    The distinction between rice vinegar and sushi seasoning (sushizu) is that sushi seasoning is rice vinegar with the addition of fructose syrup, sugar, and salt, whereas rice vinegar is rice vinegar without the addition of these ingredients.With that in mind, I’m confident you can see why I manufacture my own seasoning.

    Rice to water ratios

    Rice and water are mixed in a one-to-one ratio.To use the cup that comes with the rice cooker, just remove the lid from the cooker.This is a smaller cup measurement than the regular cup measurement.Just keep in mind that no matter what measuring equipment you use, the ratio remains the same, 1:1.1 cup of rice plus 1 cup of water = 2 cups of rice 1.5 cups of rice plus 1.5 cups of water equals 3 cups of rice.2 cups of rice plus 2 cups of water equals 4 cups of rice.

    2.5 cups of rice plus 2.5 cups of water = 4.5 cups total It is critical to remember that the rice is being measured before it has been soaked in water.

    How to use sushi rice

    • Of course, it’s for cooking sushi, and there are so many different kinds that you’ll never get tired.
