    1. Last weekend was really hectic with family visits, and I wanted to prepare something quick for lunch because some of the family members couldn’t stay late at the restaurant.
    2. To save time, I generally make pizza using bread dough as a basis, but my son discovered these ready-made pizza dough bases in the refrigerated department of Tesco, which were ideal since all you had to do was lay out the base and sprinkle your topping on top.
    3. When I’ve made pizza in the past, I’ve used the Northern Dough Company pizza dough from Waitrose, but I didn’t get along with it and the base ended up being really soggy.

    Ingredients for 4 people

    • 4 packets of ready-rolled pizza bases from Tesco (about)
    • 500-gram carton of passata
    • 1 carton of passata
    • 3-4 garlic cloves (optional)
    • 1 onion
    • 1 shallot
    • 1. 1 canned pineapple pieces with the liquid drained (1,435-gram can)

At this point, your pizza is ready to be assembled. On a pizza tray, roll out the pizza dough foundation and the baking sheet to make a pizza base.
