      Pizza Bowl

    • A quick and simple 5 minute lunch that has all of the taste of pizza without any of the carbohydrates! There are no specific ingredients needed! This Pizza Bowl is really simple to prepare! This post contains affiliate links, which means that if you make a purchase after clicking on one of the links, I will receive a small compensation. Profits from my site and my family’s support are used to fund both. Thank you very much! I’m not sure about you, but for me, preparing ahead of time is half of the battle. I’m well aware that when I prepare ahead for what I’m going to eat, I’m lot more successful at sticking to my diet. However, I do not always follow through on this, despite the fact that I know I should! (I’m just being truthful!) I made the decision around two weeks ago that it would be a good idea to have cooked hamburger in my refrigerator for quick and simple lunches during the week. That, I must say, was a fantastic concept! Thanks for sharing it! Among other things, I’ve used it for taco meat, cheeseburger salad, and the incredible dish I’m offering today — this delectable Pizza Bowl! It just takes about 10 minutes to fry up a couple of pounds of hamburger (or venison, in my case), and it is so convenient to have on hand in the fridge, ready to be transformed into anything you want with it! This simple meal serves as an excellent example! Pizza is a favorite of most people, and I am no exception. The Perfect Pizza Crust recipe (found on page 211 of the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook) is my absolute favorite low-carb pizza crust recipe ever. I really like that dish, but I’m not always willing to put in the effort to cook it (call me lazy or Drive Through Sue — your call). As a result, I came up with the idea for this recipe: a simple microwaveable pizza bowl that delivers all of the flavor in only a few of minutes (providing you have the burger already cooked). This is something I may or may not have had three times in the last week! The beef I used was hamburger, but this would be much better with cooked Italian sausage! Make sure to provide your email address so that you can have all of my new recipes delivered directly to your inbox! (See the sign-up box at the top of this post for further information.) Remember to follow me on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter for the latest updates! Venison can be substituted for the 1/2 cup cooked hamburger.

    • 1/4 – 1/2 cup sugar-free pizza sauce
    • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 8-10 slices pepperoni
    • garlic salt
    • dried oregano
    • 8-10 slices pepperoni
    • In a microwaveable cereal bowl, place half of the hamburger, half of the pepperoni, half of the pizza sauce, and half of the cheese
    • microwave on high for 30 seconds or until heated through.
    • Garlic salt and oregano, to taste, are sprinkled over top.
    • Continue to layer the remaining ingredients
    • Garlic salt and oregano are sprinkled over top once more.
    • Place the dish in the microwave for 2 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling

Great Value Pizza Sauce is a favorite of mine because it has no sugar and just 3 net carbohydrates per 1/4 cup serving. A single serving (one recipe) contains: 426 calories, 9 grams of carbohydrates, 31 grams of fat, and 2 grams of fiber. Copycat Olive Garden Pizza Bowl

    1. Jack and I can rationalize taking a break from cooking to go out for lunch every now and again, which is one of the benefits of being your own boss – as well as a bonus of being food bloggers.
    2. It’s all in the name of scientific investigation and recipe development!
    3. We saw a promo for Olive Garden’s Pizza Bowl lunch on television a few weeks ago, and we were intrigued.
    • The copycat Olive Garden Pizza Bowl looked delicious, so we decided to take a ‘field trip’ to our local Olive Garden restaurant to test it out in the hopes of reproducing it at home.
    • That pizza dish was very delectable!
    • Made with dough baked into a bowl-shaped form and then filled with creamy Alfredo sauce, melty cheeses, a tomato and meat sauce with Italian sausage, and little meatballs, this dish was a hit with the crowd!
    • Starting with a fork, you begin to delve into the dish in order to reach the creamy Alfredo sauce beneath.
    1. Besides that, it’s quite delicious to munch your way through a substantial number of small meatballs, a spicy beef sauce, and enough of melty cheese.
    2. After about half of the Copycat Olive Garden Pizza Bowl has been consumed, you may begin breaking off sections of the bowl, allowing the soft bread dough to soak up every last drop of sauce remaining in the bowl.
    3. First and first, I’d want to point out that our recipe for homemade Alfredo sauce, as well as our recipe for handmade small ricotta meatballs, are both created from scratch.
    4. As an extra bonus, we cooked our own handmade Italian tomato sauce from scratch and included Italian sausage.
    5. Take advantage of the convenience of premade or frozen meatballs and canned Alfredo and tomato sauce, if you so choose, but don’t skimp on the flavor.
    6. (*See the recipe’s Notes section for further information.) Homemade versions can be prepared ahead of time.) Second, Jack and I were debating whether the original pizza bowl was constructed with pizza dough or bread dough at the time of its creation.

After finishing the original Olive Garden Pizza Bowl, we concluded that the thickness and softness of the bowl indicated that it was made of bread dough. As a result, we utilized frozen bread dough from our neighborhood grocery store.Bake until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown, then invert and fill your Copycat Olive Garden Pizza Bowl with sauce, cheese, meat sauce, and meatballs to your heart’s content! One more point to mention: we used a one-quart metal bowl identical to this one – and, to be completely transparent, the Copycat Olive Garden Pizza Bowl you see in our images is a larger piece than what you would receive at the actual restaurant. If you wish, you can make your pizza dishes smaller if you so choose.

For the counter, use flour. The dough for two 1-pound loaves of frozen bread has been thawed and brought to room temperature.2 cups Alfredo Sauce (if preparing from scratch) — alternatively use pre-made Alfredo Sauce if you don’t want to bother.

    • 12 cup melted butter 2 quarts of thick cream a couple of grinds of nutmeg 12 teaspoon dry mustard 14 teaspoon kosher salt 14 teaspoon white pepper 12 teaspoon dry mustard 1 tsp.
    • Italian seasoning (optional) (or half dry oregano and half dry basil) 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional) 36 Mini Ricotta Meatballs (if you are making them from scratch) – alternatively you may purchase them already made.
    • Meatballs made with ricotta 12 cup whole milk 3 tablespoons sourdough bread (crust removed and torn into tiny pieces) or any coarse bread ground beef (85/15) pound 1 pound 1/4 cup whole milk 1 egg 1 egg and 1 egg and 1 egg and 1 egg ricotta that has been drained of any liquid finely sliced onion (about 1/3 cup) grated Parmesan cheese (about 2 tablespoons) 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh flat leaf parsley (or half the amount of dried) a couple of grinds of nutmeg 1 teaspoon kosher salt (optional) 14 teaspoon freshly grated black pepper, to taste a quarter-cup of shredded mozzarella Cooking meatballs in olive oil takes 14 cup total.

Prepare Italian Tomato Sauce (use our recipe here), or use 48 ounces canned sauce (about 112 gallons).Other The casings of one pound Italian sweet sausage were removed.a pound of ground beef (85% fat/15%) 12 cups extra-virgin olive oil, split 1 pound Fontina cheese (shredded), to taste 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese 2 cups finely grated Parmesan cheese, evenly distributed Each one-pound loaf of bread dough should be divided in half to get four 8-ounce portions. Each should be rolled into a ball and flattened into a circle on a well-floured work surface.

To ensure that the dough does not become too stiff, continue pushing it into a circle, allowing it to relax, then pressing again until each dough ball is eight inches around.Cover with a dish towel until you’re ready to use it.If you are creating the Alfredo sauce from scratch, melt the butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat and whisk in the cream, nutmeg, mustard, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until smooth and creamy.Stirring constantly, cook the mixture until it is hot, then add the Parmesan cheese.Heat until the cheese is melted, then remove from the heat.

    1. The sauce can be prepared up to one day ahead of time.
    2. When cooking meatballs from scratch, preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
    3. Place the milk and bread in a medium-sized mixing basin, mashing the bread into the liquid.
    • Allow this to set while you prepare the rest of the components.
    • In a medium to large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, the egg, the ricotta, the onion, the Parmesan, the parsley, the nutmeg, the salt, the pepper, and the mozzarella cheese.
    • With your hands, squeeze out all of the milk from the bread, and then add the bread to the meat mixture.
    • Milk should be thrown away.
    • Combine the meatball mixture until everything is well-combined.
    • Pour the entire mixture onto your counter or cutting board with a one-ounce scoop using a rubber spatula.

2 tablespoons of olive oil should be drizzled onto a sheet tray that has been lined with parchment paper and set aside. Each meatball should be picked up and pulled apart into two pieces, yielding two meatballs weighing half an ounce. This recipe will make around 32-36 half-ounce meatballs.

    1. Using your palms, roll each into a ball and arrange them on the baking sheet.
    2. Pour two additional tablespoons of oil over the top and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through completely.
    3. Remove the pan from the oven and set it aside.
    4. If you want to make the Italian tomato sauce from scratch, you may find the recipe here.
    5. Make a mental note to put it away.
    6. Once the bread dough has softened and been stretched to an eight-inch circle, remove it from the counter and sprinkle it with flour again.
    1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius).
    2. We baked our dough into a metal mixing bowl, which was then removed from the oven.
    3. The bowl measured 7 inches broad at the rim, 3 inches wide at the bottom, and 4 inches deep.
    4. You may use any bowl you choose, whether it’s ceramic or metal, as long as it can withstand the heat of the oven.
    5. You may also use a bowl with slightly different dimensions than the one we used.

The challenge is to select an oven-safe bowl that will keep the dough in place while it bakes and with a completed aperture that is no bigger than 7 inches in diameter.Place the bowl upside down on a sheet tray coated with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven to heat.Olive oil should be used to coat the dough in a ring around it, leaving about 3 inches in the middle. To finish, divide one cup of the Parmesan cheese over each oil ring and press it into the oil with your fingers.Repeat with the remaining three doughs.Open the oven door and coat the bowl with olive oil, then quickly arrange one 8-inch made dough over the bowl, cheese side up, and close the oven door fast again.

    • If you have more than one bowl, you may bake as many as you like at the same time.
    • Even if it’s just one bowl, repeat the process until all four doughs have been baked.
    • Bake for five minutes, then flip pan and bake for a further five minutes, or until golden brown.

At this stage, the exterior should be a wonderful golden brown color on the outside.Remove the rack from the oven by opening the door and sliding it out.Lift the baked dough bowl out of the oven and place it upright on a cooling rack to cool completely.

Continue until all four of the bowls are cooked, brushing additional oil on the surface as needed.Place them in a separate container and turn off the oven.Brown the sausage and ground beef in a medium-sized skillet, breaking up the chunks as you cook.

    • Once the meat is browned, add all of the tomato sauce and heat until the sauce is hot.
    • Heat the Alfredo sauce until it is hot.
    • The butter fat will separate if the dish is made ahead of time.
    • Simply stir the mixture while heating it, and it will come together and stabilize.
    • Place the meatballs in a sauce pan with a small amount of water and bring to a boil.
    • In order to serve, arrange the four pizza-bowls on four serving plates and divide the hot Alfredo sauce among the four bowls.
    • After that, split the Fontina across the two Alfredo dishes.
    • After that, spread half of the beef sauce over the Fontina cheese.
    • After that, arrange half of the meatballs on top of the beef sauce.
    • Then, using a fork, distribute the shredded mozzarella among the meatballs.

On top of the mozzarella, spoon the leftover meat sauce over the top.In the last step, divide the remaining meatballs evenly over the beef sauce and sprinkle with the remaining cup of Parmesan cheese.Serve immediately with plenty of paper napkins.

    Notes

    1. *The amount of time required for preparation and cooking will vary depending on your approach.
    2. You may buy canned Alfredo sauce, jarred tomato sauce, and frozen meatballs, or you can prepare everything from scratch, as instructed in this recipe, by following the directions.
    3. In less than an hour, if you use pre-made sauces and frozen meatballs, you can have this meal on the table.
    • If you’re cooking everything from scratch, I recommend making the two sauces and the meatballs a day ahead of time.
    • Copycat Olive Garden, pizza bowl are some of the keywords to look for.

    • On Friday, I informed you that I had had a very busy and interesting week.

    • I indicated in that article that I will share more information with you about it later…welcome to later, if you recall the post from earlier.
    1. So… When the phone rang, I turned away from the stove, where supper was already cooking, to discover that my father had been sent to the hospital.
    2. During the bustle of my family members running in from the outside to find out what was going on, I was able to escape.
    3. Unfortunately, the rear door had been mistakenly left open.
    4. While I was running, Shakespeare, my dog, was trailing behind me, trying to figure out what was happening.
    5. It occurred to me that my cat Gabby might take advantage of this as an excellent time to sneak out the back door, across the yard, and into the woods behind my house.
    6. When I noticed she had vanished, I took a minute to evaluate whether or not I should go seeking for her.

Then it dawned on me that I didn’t have time, and I had to leave. It was also because she had previously fled through an open door and managed to make her way back home in time to prepare dinner for herself.Knowing this, I assumed she would be waiting for me outside the door again that evening, this time to allow her in and give her some food.

    Then.

    1. Gabby was unable to be seen when I arrived home on Sunday evening.
    2. I spent some time on Monday morning before traveling to the hospital looking for her, but I couldn’t find her anywhere.
    3. Still no cat as of Monday night.
    • She was not to be seen on Tuesday and Wednesday.
    • On Wednesday night, I finally finished my nightly hunt for her, which had yielded no results until that point.
    • Towards the end of the conversation, I was torn between anxiety and terror that she might never return.
    • I left my back door cracked on Thursday morning in case she wanted to wander in, but there has been no trace of Gabby since then.
    1. At this time, I was certain that my cat would not be returning home, and I would have to accept this as a fact of life.
    2. Then it was Thursday night, and I was on my way home from the hospital when I received a text message informing me that my cat had returned and was waiting at the front door.
    3. My initial reaction was that it was a prank, so I didn’t bother to answer.
    4. My son had previously performed that nasty trick on me, and I was determined that he would not be able to deceive me in the future.
    5. Gabby was waiting for me in her favorite location beneath the dining room table when I got home.

Turning Your Pizza Dough into Bowls!

    1. Consider making your own bowls out of the pizza dough you’re currently purchasing in bulk for your pizza and appetizers.
    2. The process is simple and once you’ve mastered it, you’ll be able to utilize them for almost anything!
    3. This is so ridiculously simple that you’ll be surprised that you haven’t thought of it sooner!
    • After you’ve ensured that the pizza dough is properly defrosted, simply stretch it out so that it’s almost (but not quite) twice as thick as you would roll it out for pizza.
    • Then, invert an aluminum or other oven-safe bowl and coat the underside with nonstick cooking spray.
    • Place the dough on top of the bowl, being sure to shape and mould it to the shape of the dish.
    • It’s possible that you’ll want to proof it for around 15 minutes before baking it.
    1. Place the bowl, as well as the dough, on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit in a preheated oven.
    2. You should avoid using egg wash or any other type of oil on the dough since you want it to be as crispy and crusty as possible when baked.
    3. The dough should be baked for around 12 – 15 minutes, or until it sounds hollow when pounded on the counter.
    4. Taking the baking sheet out of the oven, let the bread bowl to sit for 2-3 minutes upside down before removing it from the metal bowl.
    5. Once the container has been flipped upside down, allow for another 2 minutes of resting time.
    6. After your bowl has been cooked, you may fill it with whatever you believe your clients would enjoy!

Chili, salad, dips, sauces, and soups are just a few examples of what you may make.Following the acquisition of the bowl, your only true constraint will be your own creativity! When you’re searching for even more inspiration for what to do with your bread or any other dough, come visit us at DeIorios Foods Inc.We have all of the items you’re looking for, as well as suggestions for what to do with them.

    Crustless Pizza Bowl

    1. *Some of the links in this post may be affiliate links.
    2. For further information, please view my disclaimer.
    3. An uncrustless pizza bowl with all of your favorite toppings is what a pizza bowl is (and mine).
    • It can be completed in about 15 minutes, from beginning to end!!
    • This dish is one of my favorites because it does not require the use of a crust.
    • Making a pizza crust is not difficult, but it does necessitate the use of pizza dough proving time.
    • Of course, you can purchase the pizza dough, but why bother when you can make it yourself?
    1. I have a tendency to be lazy every now and again, and on those days, this is my go-to meal.
    2. I can whip up a great pizza in no time, complete with all of the best tastes and toppings, and it requires no work or time on my part!
    3. Additionally, a crustless pizza dish is an excellent choice for folks who are gluten intolerant or wish to reduce their bread consumption.
    4. This means you won’t have to go to the trouble of mastering a gluten-free crust.
    5. Besides being delicious, simple, and accommodating to a variety of dietary restrictions, what’s not to love about pizza bowls?

    What’s Inside a Pizza Bowl?

Pizza bowls include nearly all of the components found in a traditional pizza, with the exception of the crust. Sausage, pepperoni, tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese, together with a few Italian herbs, make up the base of this dish. You may use fresh basil and oregano or a combination of aromatic Italian herbs for this dish. You have complete control over the situation.

    What Kind of Sausage?

To make my pizza dish, I used a mild Italian sausage that I had on hand. If you prefer spicy sausages, you may absolutely use those as well, but the mild and sweet Italian sausages, in my view, are the greatest choice here. If you are following a kosher or halal diet, you can substitute beef sausage or beef pepperoni in place of the ground beef.

Which Pepperoni is Best to Use?

    1. Pepperoni is a spicy sausage that is air-dried and has a few distinguishing characteristics: It has a fine-grained texture, a faint smokey flavor, and is rather soft.
    2. Pepperoni, contrary to popular belief, is not an Italian product, but rather a food that originated in the United States.
    3. Pepperoni, as we know it, is not a versatile component, but you may get varying slice sizes as well as a choice between smokier and spicy tastes when shopping for pepperoni pizza.
    • You may select between these options, or you can just build a pizza bowl with two different sorts for a more gourmet twist!
    • If you don’t consume or don’t care for pig products, you may easily swap a beef-based pepperoni, as previously said.
    • This recipe is quite adaptable to individual preferences and may easily be modified.

    Choosing the Right Cheese

    1. This is the section where you have the greatest number of options.
    2. The following are my top three favorite varieties of cheese for pizza and I’ll provide you with some background information on each so that you can make an informed decision about which is the best choice for you: Mozzarella cheese is a type of cheese that is popular in Italy.
    3. When it comes to pizza, this is the most commonly used sort of cheese.
    • When cooking pizza, you have the option of using either high-moisture or low-moisture mozzarella cheese.
    • When choosing between the two, I personally prefer the low-moisture mozzarella since it has a superior flavor and melts more quickly when cooked.
    1. Provolone cheese: Provolone cheese is a semi-hard Italian cheese that, in my opinion, is the second best choice.
    2. Provolone has a variety of flavors that are all dependent on how long it has been matured.
    3. If you like a sweeter flavor, select provolone that has been matured for a shorter period of time; if you prefer a sharper flavor, select provolone that has been aged for a longer period of time.

If I’m ordering a pizza, cheddar cheese is my second pick after mozzarella cheese. Known for its pungent flavor, cheddar cheese is a popular variety of cheese that is enjoyed by many people. A good addition, and it works best when combined with mozzarella, because it has only a small amount of elasticity and does not blister like mozzarella.

Parmesan cheese is a firm cheese that has a distinct flavor. In addition to being used on pizza, it may also be shaved or grated on top of other delicious cheeses. It is recommended to add the parmesan cheese after the dish has been cooked because the flavor will be lost if it is baked before. My favorite way to enjoy parmesan is on top of a hot, freshly cooked pizza.

In addition to these, you can experiment with other types of cheese such as gouda, Edam, Gruyere, and ricotta. Each of these cheeses will add a distinct taste to your pizza bowl, transforming it into a whole different and fantastic meal.

    Which Mushrooms to Use?

    1. White mushrooms are my personal favorite because of their milder flavor.
    2. You may, however, experiment with different types of mushrooms such as shiitake, oyster, and more.
    3. It is critical that mushrooms be not washed in water after they have been cleaned.
    • Mushrooms have a propensity to soak up all of the liquid, resulting in soggy mushrooms after they have been cooked.
    • Always wipe your mushrooms off with a moist towel rather than using a traditional washing machine.

Making a Pizza Bowl: The Basics

    1. Everything begins with the preparation and browning of the sausage.
    2. It is possible to brown bigger amounts of sausage that can be stored in the freezer and used whenever you want a wonderful pizza bowl.
    3. Cook the sausage in olive oil or a small amount of butter until it is browned on both sides.
    • Cook the mushrooms until they are tender in the same skillet.
    • It will take around five minutes.
    • After that, it’s time to put everything together.
    • Distribute part of the tomato sauce among the bowls.
    1. Sausage, pepperoni, and cheese are sprinkled on top.
    2. Simply bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and you’re done!
    3. Take pleasure in your pizza dish.
