Recipe tips

  • I understand that it may be tempting, but refrain from piling too much mac and cheese on your pizza dough. As a result, the crust will get soggy and difficult to pick up
  • Check to see that your mac and cheese is creamy, but not dripping with cheese sauce, before you serve it. If your mac and cheese is looking a little dry, you may add a splash of milk to it. The addition of extra cheese on top of the pizza also helps with this
  • I used a white cheddar mozzarella blend of cheese on my pizza, but you may use any sort of cheese you choose.
  • If you’re using a handmade pizza dough recipe, make sure to bake it ahead of time.

What toppings can I add to my Mac and Cheese Pizza?

  • There are a plethora of different toppings that you may use on your mac and cheese pizza! Here are a few of my favorite toppings to serve with pizza: Bacon (of course)
  • ham (of course)
  • Cheese, green onion or chives, mushrooms, and parmesan cheese
  • Extra cheesiness is provided with fresh mozzarella slices
  • A rotisserie chicken, topped with pepperoni, sausage, or Canadian bacon

Mac and Cheese Pizza Recipe

Description

  • On a pizza crust, cheesy macaroni and cheese is topped with bacon bits. What’s not to like about this? 1 pre-baked (mini) pizza crust (8-inch diameter)
  • 1 Macaroni and Mild Cheddar cup (or approximately 1 cup of your favorite mac and cheese)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (I used a white cheddar mozzarella blend)
  • 1 tsp bacon crumbles (optional)
  • a pinch of parmesan and Italian spice blend for garnish
  • 1 tsp bacon crumbles (optional)
  • 1 tsp bacon crumbles (optional)
  • 1 tsp bacon crumbles (optional)
  • 1 tsp bacon crumbles
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Prepare the macaroni and cheese according to the directions on the package
  3. and
  4. Mac and cheese should be spread over the crust. If preferred, add a little more than 1 cup of macaroni and cheese to the mix.
  5. Extra cheese, parmesan, Italian spice blend, and optional bacon crumbles can be sprinkled on top.
  6. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the mixture is hot and bubbling, depending on your oven.
  7. Serve and take pleasure in it

Notes

You’ll want to reheat any remaining mac and cheese before spreading it over the pizza dough if you’re using leftover mac and cheese from the fridge.
