    For the packaging and branding of the Boboli® pizza crust, I rate it an 8 out of 10.The Boboli® brand has modified their packaging and logo, according to what I’ve discovered via investigation.In order to create a more clean-looking design, the floral-looking feature was shifted to the ″O″ in Boboli®, as shown above.After reading about the inspiration behind the name ″Boboli®,″ the flower-detail, in my opinion, is appropriate.Using it as a pattern on the backdrop of the package is a brilliant technique to create a pattern that seems on-brand while yet being distinctive.

    In addition, the revised font style and minimal quantity of information printed on the front of the packaging allow consumers to recognize both the brand and the product without having read the text to figure out what it’s for.This impression is supported by the use of Italian hues and extra graphics of Italian foods.I have two suggestions on how to make this package even better:

    1. When purchasing a two-pack of tiny 8-inch crusts, it would be convenient to have a zippered / resealable packaging option available. In this method, if you don’t use both of the crusts at the same time, you can still preserve the crust in its original packaging — with the recipe / directions on the reverse — so you may use it again in the future.
    2. Because the ″tear here″ label on the top left of the box does not have a hole, it is not feasible to pull it apart. I opened mine using scissors, which was alright, but creating a pre-cut section, especially if the box makes this clear, would be beneficial.

    I purchased a packet of 8″ small Boboli® crusts as well as a 12″ thin crust just for this blog.Although Shoprite did not have the original crust, I was able to substitute with the 12″ original crust.Each package cost $3.99, which I consider to be a good price, especially considering the 12″ crust you get for your money.Bobolisauce, ®’s which was also available for purchase with the crust, did not entice me to purchase or taste it.

    I’m amazed, especially considering that this is a prefabricated, precooked crust that can be eaten directly out of the package!This is how the crust appears when it is first removed from the package.With a dusting of cheese on top, you can tell that it has already been cooked.This may appear strange given the fact that you do not need to refrigerate the crust, but that is the wonder of modern food manufacturing.If you’re not cautious, the crust will rip if you work with it too much, which is especially true if you’re working with the thin crust.

    Before you bake it, though, it is robust enough to handle a substantial quantity of toppings without falling apart.Remember to use two hands when putting the dish in the oven to avoid burning yourself.The taste of the crust comes from the baked cheese.Your final pizza will taste better, though, the more toppings and seasoning you use on top of it.

    I took care to season my Boboli® pizza crust with Italian spice and garlic before topping it with pesto and mozzarella.It is the baking of the Boboli® crust that gives it its distinctive flavor.It has a chewy texture that is lacking in the majority of prefabricated and frozen pizzas.There are air pockets in the dough that give it a hint of fluffiness, and the very outer edges with the pre-baked cheese make a crunchy, ASMR-inducing sound as you bite into them.With all of my toppings on top and baked for the entire 10 minutes, the crust is nearly firm enough to be held in one hand when finished baking.So even if you prefer your pizza with a lot of additional sauce, as I do, the crust will hold up to the test.

    Ingredients for Boboli® Pizza Crust with Pesto and Mozzarella Recipe

    For your pizza, you may use either homemade pesto and tomato sauce or store-bought pesto and tomato sauce. Feel free to modify the proportions for this recipe if you want a cheeseier pizza. In order to get my preferred level of sauceiness, I eyeballed my ingredients and added a light coating of shredded cheese as well as more pesto.

    How to Make Boboli® Pizza Crust with Pesto and Mozzarella Recipe
