Chicken, Bacon, Ranch Pizza Recipe – Food.com
- This dish was inspired by Papa John’s chicken bacon ranch pizza, which I saw on the internet. It’s one of our favorites, so I attempted to recreate it at home. It turned out beautifully! Enjoy. p.s. While this is not a particularly healthy meal, it is quite tasty! READY WITHIN 50 MINUTES UNITS: 1 (eight-ounce) canpizza dough
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast halves (chopped)
- 8 slices cooked bacon (cut up)
- 1 (eight-ounce) canpizza dough
Pizza Sauce
- 1⁄3 – 1⁄2cupranch dressing
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Roll out the pizza dough onto a pizza pan or cookie sheet and set aside. Prepare the sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in the cream cheese until it is completely melted. Combine the cream and garlic powder in a separate bowl. Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook, stirring often. If the sauce appears to be too thin, gradually add more flour, 1 teaspoon at a time. Cook, stirring constantly, until the desired consistency is reached. Season with salt and pepper once you’ve added the parmesan cheese to the pan. For the pizza, you should have a wonderful creamy alfredo sauce on hand.
- After you have placed your ranch dressing on your dough, you should pour your alfredo sauce on your dough.
- Half of your mozzarella cheese should be sprinkled on the pie. Combine the shredded chicken, bacon, and chopped onion in a large mixing bowl. Then bake for 20 minutes at 425 degrees on the bottom rack of the oven, or until the crust seems to be done on the bottom. Assuming that everyone takes two pieces each, this recipe yields four servings. Otherwise, it is a total of 8

You should absolutely order pizza with a side of ranch.
- Ranch is what I eat with my pizza, which is pretty much all of it.
- In Texas, there is no such thing as a bad time for asking for ranch on the side of a piece of pizza.
- And now that I’m in New York, I’m not going to let anyone make fun of me for my condiment selection.
- Ranch dressing, on the other hand, is a better condiment for pizza than it is for salad.
- A universe of thick carbohydrates and luscious tomato makes more sense than it ever would on a bed of bitter lettuce and crisp carrots.
This Is Why Pizza + Ranch Is SO Good
- Because, after all, what is a ranch?
- There are several ingredients, including onion, herbs, spices, and buttermilk (plus a few more things—our here’s recipe for homemade ranch dressing).
- Typically, when you eat pizza (particularly from a pizza chain), the experience goes something like this: warm cheese coats your taste, a hint of rich tomato lies underneath that, and then the fluffy carb-y crust is there to give you a touch of sweetness.
- And for some folks, that’s where the bite stops.
- However, if you know what you’re eating (as I do), your following meal should begin with a smear of ranch dressing.
- It has a bright herbaceous flavor with a mild tang that will wake up your palette in preparation for the next round of heavenly cheeses.
Essentially, the acid in the dressing helps to cut through the oil from all of the cheese and pepperoni, allowing you to be more alert for the next mouthful. It’s a kind of palette cleanser in a way.Discover more interesting facts about ranches that you may not have known.
How Did This Pairing Even Start?
- Ranch dressing originally appeared on the menus of pizza restaurants as a condiment for breadsticks in the 1970s.
- It wasn’t long before folks began to become a little more experimental, dipping their slice of bread into a cup of ranch.
- People have been known to dip pizza in ranch dressing all across the country, from Texas to California, but the Midwest is regarded to be the most popular place to enjoy the combo of ranch dressing and pizza.
- This leaves the East Coast as the final frontier, where many pizza places do not offer ranch dressing, and those that do supply it, do so only after much ado.
- But I believe that one day everyone will come to their senses and, when you leave with a to-go pizza, you will find a cup of ranch stashed away in the box with the pizza.
- Instead, learn how to create ranch dressing at home and then explore some more bizarre food combos that we can’t seem to get enough of.

Pizza Hut Is Testing Out Fried Chicken Pizza, And It’s The Crossover We Never Knew We Needed
- Just in case you haven’t noticed, fried chicken is currently the topic of conversation everywhere.
- With the chicken sandwich wars going between Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, Wendy’s, and everyone else, it’s difficult to get food off your thoughts during the day.
- In contrast, you may not be aware that Pizza Hut has discreetly entered the fray, offering you an irresistibly tasty fried chicken pizza that just could be the obvious victor.
- Pizza Hut New Zealand has released many southern-fried chicken selections (assuming they are from the Southern United States, not the Southern New Zealand!) that had me seriously considering relocating.
- The Fried Chicken and Bacon Ranch Pizza, which is topped with fried chicken bits, bacon, red onion, capsicum (also known as bell pepper in the United States), mozzarella cheese, and ranch dressing, is the first dish on the menu.
- The video of their fried chicken pizza cheese pull has been watched more than 100 times in my house alone!

History
- Every legend begins with a narrative that is told to others.
- Pizza Ranch has evolved from its humble origins in a tiny Iowa hamlet to more than 200 restaurant locations throughout the Midwest, thanks to the support of devoted consumers and the dedication of hardworking franchise owners.
- Each Pizza Ranch location is a part of our mythology and can be traced back to the very beginning of the narrative, as each site strives to fulfill the company’s Mission and Vision.
- Take a seat, put your boots on, and listen to the place where the legend all began.
Humble Roots
- It was in the early 1980s that Adrie Groeneweg began experimenting with pizza recipes in his parents’ kitchen, little realizing at the time that he was developing a recipe that would lead to a resounding commercial success.
- We can trace our humble roots back to Hull, Iowa, which is the small hometown of Adrie Groeneweg, the President and creator of Pizza Ranch.
- Adrie was splitting his time between welding and working at a pizza business in a nearby town throughout his post-high school years.
- Adrie’s curiosity was piqued when he spotted a large number of people from his hometown driving to Sioux Center for supper at the pizza shop where he worked.
- Adrie was 19 at the time.
- In the evening, Adrie returned home and discussed his views with his father, Bill.
Adrie’s father, on the other hand, saw a lot of potential in both the pizza business and in his son.Adrie was persuaded to create his own pizza business after Bill saw a property on Main Street in Hull that could be transformed into a restaurant.Adrian’s father, who was also ready to put his own money on the line, signed a bank note for this new business endeavor at an interest rate of 18 percent, putting his own money at risk. The only things that remained were a name and a few recipes at this point.
Adrie’s parents came up with the idea for the Western motif, and Adrie came up with the recipes. On December 21, 1981, the first guest arrived at Pizza Ranch for the first time.
Legendary Growth
- Adrie got an inquiry from a businessman in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, two and a half years after the Hull Pizza Ranch first opened its doors.
- The businessman wanted to know whether Adrie was interested in franchising his idea.
- As it turned out, the response was affirmative, and the first Pizza Ranch franchise opened its doors in the summer of 1984.
- Today, with more than 200 franchised stores in fifteen states, Pizza Ranch is the largest and most well-known pizza business in the Midwest—and it shows no indications of slowing down any time in the foreseeable future.
- The famed buffet and customer-first philosophy are certainly important factors in the success of Pizza Ranch, but a rock-solid foundation established on Adrie’s father’s original ″pay it forward″ approach also plays a role.
- Come along with us on a trip through time to learn the significant milestones that Pizza Ranch has reached along the way!

Review: Pizza Hut – Chicken, Bacon, Tomato Garlic Parmesan Pizza
- Chicken, Bacon, Tomato, and Garlic Pizza from Pizza Hut It’s all about the cheese on this Parmesan Pizza.
- The sauce is velvety with garlic and Parmesan cheese, the dough is toasted with cheese, and the toppings are a Parmesan-parsley combination.
- It’s topped with sliced white flesh chicken, bacon strips, and chopped tomatoes, among other things.
- For $10, I was able to get a big.
- As a follow-up to my prior review of Pizza Hut’s new hand-tossed pizza (see here for the original review), while it is an improvement over the old version, it is not a significant improvement over the previous version (it is).
- Simply put, I’m not seeing the airier crust that was promised on the box, and while there were a handful of air bubbles in the dough, it appeared as though they were pumped into the dough at random, rather than being a natural occurrence during the baking of the dough.
It’s similar to how deli meats are currently offered in such a way that they appear to have been sliced by hand (while, in fact, they have been machine-cut).I get the concept, but it’s still a little strange.Nonetheless, the new crust has a more pizza-like feel to it and less bread-like feel to it than the prior edition.Unlike the traditional hand-tossed pizza, which is smeared with garlic butter spread, the Garlic Parmesan Pizza has an equal coating of caramelized shredded Parmesan on the end crust.
It provides a satisfying crunch and a dramatic finish (unless you eat it end crust first; in which case, it makes for an impactful start).Even though the white sauce included only a few traces of Parmesan and Romano cheese, it was a delicious combination of garlicky creaminess. In addition to the sauce, the topping mix worked quite well. The bacon and tomatoes, in particular, stood out in terms of flavor and texture on the plate.
What would normally be a meaty-cheesy meal is given a burst of freshness by the addition of the tomatoes. The covering of the toppings was excellent, and I was never left wondering where my chicken, bacon, or tomatoes had disappeared to.Overall, the Chicken, Bacon, Tomato, Garlic, and Parmesan Pizza from Pizza Hut is the greatest pizza I’ve had from them in a very long time.Gimmicks are (sometimes) entertaining, but I’m actually delighted that they stuck with a simple, traditional pizza concept this time around instead of experimenting. The crispy Parmesan crust and garlicky sauce were two of my favorite parts of the dish.Nutritional Information for a 14″ Large Pizza Hut Garlic Parmesan Pizza with Chicken, Bacon, and Tomato.

The 10 Best Pizza Hut Pizzas, Ranked From Good to Great
- Your library is closed at 2 a.m., and you’re stuck there all night.
- You’re exhausted and hungry after cramming for your exams.
- You’re looking for something that will fill you up and that will be with you during this challenging period.
- What is the solution?
- Pizza Hut is a chain of restaurants in the United States that specializes on pizza.
- This renowned pizza restaurant does not receive the attention and credit that it deserves, so I put up a list of the top Pizza Hut pies that I think you’ll like.
The next time you have a hankering for pizza, make the smart decision and order from Pizza Hut.
10. Buffalo Chicken Pizza
To get things started, here’s a pizza that will appeal to all of you who enjoy buffalo chicken. Pizza Hut’s Buffalo Chicken Pizza is topped with grilled chicken, red onions, and banana peppers and drenched in a hot and spicy buffalo sauce. The cheddar crust, without a doubt, is the greatest portion. After you’ve finished eating on this man, your hunger for wings and pizza will be satiated.
9. BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza
Here’s another pie that’s both inventive and imaginative for you. Every delicious item in this world, from BBQ to bacon to cheeseburgers to pizza, was mixed at Pizza Hut. This may be suitable for everyone, but it is particularly suitable for individuals who have a large appetite and a difficult time deciding what to eat.
8. Meat Lovers Pizza
I am a proponent of Meatless Mondays, but on any other day of the week, the Meat Lovers Pizza comes highly recommended. This substantial and deliciously fatty snack is ideal for studying or for keeping your spirits up during a long day at the office.
7. Premium Garden Veggie Pizza
Pizza Hut really boasts a large number of vegan alternatives, all of which are delectable. The Premium Garden Veggie Pizza is loaded with all of your favorite vegetables (green peppers, red onions, spinach, and mushrooms), and it’s served on a bed of Roma tomato sauce for a delicious taste sensation. As a result, you’ll be completely unaware that there are no animal products in this dish.
6. Pepperoni Pizza
There’s a reason why pepperoni pizza is such a classic. It’s a straightforward process. It’s not overly or extravagantly done. Furthermore, it is trustworthy. When it comes to pepperoni pizza, you really can’t go wrong. As an extra benefit, the pepperoni at Pizza Hut is crispier and a touch hotter than that of most other franchises, making it a superior choice.
5. Italian Meatball Pizza
The Italians deserve credit for inventing both pizza and meatballs, but it is Pizza Hut that deserves kudos for putting them together in the most delicious manner conceivable. Because to the use of fresh tomatoes and onions, this pizza has a perfect balance of savory and refreshing flavors.
4. Chicken-Bacon Parmesan Supreme Pizza
As a change of pace, I’ve created a pizza that does not use standard marinara sauce as the foundation sauce for the toppings. A Chicken-Bacon Parmesan Supreme is the perfect slice for those days when you want something rich and delicious. It appears to be too wonderful to be true.
3. Bacon Spinach Alfredo Pizza
- If Fettuccine Alfredo is your favorite type of pasta, you’ll love this pizza because it’s made with the same sauce.
- It features a creamy garlic sauce that is both earthy and rich, and it is served with bacon and mushrooms.
- However, the salted pretzel crust, which is as weird as it sounds, is what really sets this pizza apart from the others.
- Instead of that Auntie Anne’s pretzel, try this one instead.
2. Supreme Pizza
Order the Supreme Pizza, which is one of Pizza Hut’s most popular pies, for a tried-and-true combination that has been approved by experts. It’s covered with a generous number of vegetables such as green peppers and onions, but it’s also topped with seasoned pork and pepperoni for a well-balanced flavor.
1. Mozzarella Stuffed Crust Pizza
- Was this a big surprise to anyone?
- No.
- Was it deserving of the number one spot?
- Definitely.
- Pizza Hut’s packed crust is often considered to be the greatest in the fast-food business.
- The mozzarella that is seeping out of the ends of the pizza indicates that there is no such thing as an excessive amount of cheese.
Apart from that, it is quite visually pleasant to the eye, and you will be the envy of all your friends when you have this stunning pizza in front of you.
Bonus: Ultimate Hershey’s Chocolate Chip Cookie
- Despite the fact that it is not exactly a pizza, this meal is in the shape of a huge circle and so deserves to be mentioned.
- Despite the fact that this cookie is crispy on the exterior and mushy on the inside, it is filled with chocolate chips.
- To make your own own pizookie, add some ice cream on top and bake it till golden brown.
- Is it possible that I’ve piqued your interest?
- Good.
- It’s time to get out and snag some wonderful Pizza Hut pizza, whether it’s something straightforward like a pepperoni pie or something more lavish like the filled crust.
You’ll be able to thank me afterwards.
