    3. There’s a wonderful crunch to the top, and the middle is really soft and chewy.
    4. Although the recipe appears to be lengthy, it is well worth the effort at the end.
    5. Trust me on this.
    • Using this recipe, you can create one medium-sized pizza.
    • Let me know if you decide to try this fantastic recipe!
    • Browse through the photographs I took at your leisure:)

    1. In order to make the pizza dough – 150mL lukewarm water (optional).
    2. 1.5 cups (220 g) flour (plus more flour for flouring the surface)- 1 tablespoon olive oil- 1/2 teaspoon salt- 1/4 teaspoon sugar 1.75 cups (220 g) flour (plus additional flour for flouring the surface) – 2-4 cheese strings (optional) (depending on how big your pizza is) Alternatively, use 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (depending on how big your pizza is) -For the garnishes and garnishes (These are just suggestions for toppings.:D) – 3/4 cup tomato sauce (optional) (175 mL) – Cheddar cheese – Pepperoni slices (optional) – Sausage made in Italy The following ingredients are used: bacon, bell peppers, and onions – Tomatoes are a vegetable that may be eaten raw or cooked.
    3. There are a plethora of others!
    4. Make use of your favorite toppings if you so choose.

    Step 1: Making the Dough

    1. 1.
    2. Proofing or blooming the yeast is the first stage in the process.
    3. Combine the warm water and sugar in a mixing bowl, and then add the yeast to the mixture.
    4. Stir the mixture and set it aside for approximately 10 minutes in a warm environment (I put the mixture in the oven with a lid on it to keep it warm) or until the yeast begins to bubble and froth on the surface of the liquid.
    5. Most likely, your yeast has expired or the water was too hot, resulting in your yeast being unable to bloom.
    • Mix the flour and salt together until they are completely incorporated.
    • 2.
    • In a separate bowl, combine the yeast mixture and stir until a dough begins to form.
    • It will be easier if you have a machine, but if you do not, you may use your hands to do the task.

3.Once the dough has been well incorporated, knead it for about 10 minutes on a lightly floured surface, or until the dough bounces back up when poked.4.Lightly lubricate a large mixing bowl with oil before placing the dough in it.5.Make certain that the dough is completely coated with oil on both sides, or else it will dry out.

    1. (Alternatively, a piece of tinfoil might be placed over it.) Allowing the dough to rise in a warm environment for at least 2 hours is recommended, but for the greatest texture of the crust, I recommend allowing it to rise for 24 hours.

Step 2: Preparing the Pizza Dough

    1. 5.
    2. After the dough has risen, knead it for another 5 minutes before allowing it to rest for at least another 30 minutes before continuing.
    3. 6.
    4. Lightly dust your work surface and roll out the dough into a thin circle.
    5. It is possible to accomplish this using a rolling pin, but it is also possible to do it by hand by throwing it in the air with your hands for a more ″traditional″ feel:) When you have rolled out the dough, lay it on a lightly greased cutting board or anything similar that will allow you to slip the pizza into the oven.
    • 8.
    • 8.
    • The pizza will be docked after this step.
    • This can be accomplished using a fork, chopsticks, or other pointed implement.

You want to make small holes in the dough with your fingers. This helps to avoid the formation of air bubbles beneath the crust.9.Also, if you notice air bubbles forming on the crust, don’t break them!If you leave these air bubbles in the crust, the top of the bubble will be thin and crispy, and the flavor of the crust will be enhanced as a result.

    Step 3: Stuffing the Crust

    10. The next step is to fill the crust with the filling. Ideally, you want the shredded cheese/cheese strings to be placed on the exterior of the crust, with a small portion of the dough remaining to fold over the cheese. 11. When you’re folding the dough over the cheese, make sure to push firmly down; otherwise, the dough will fall apart during baking, resulting in a messed-up result.

    Step 4: Preheating the Oven

    12. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, or even higher if you prefer13, and set aside. In addition, insert a pizza stone or a baking tray into the oven to pre-heat simultaneously with the oven. Your pizza will not be soggy on the bottom as a result of this method, and the pizza crust will be more crispier as a result.

    Step 5: Adding the Toppings

    • Using your fingers, spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the dough and sprinkle with as much cheese as you’d like. 15. After the oven has finished preheating, transfer the dough to a baking sheet and top with your desired toppings. Make sure to work quickly, otherwise the baking tray will become quite cold.. 16. For the toppings, you can use whatever you’d want to put on top. Some options are: pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, sausage, bacon, more cheese, black olives, green peppers, pineapple, spinach, Italian sausage, and roasted peppers and onions
    • Bacon

Feel free to substitute your favorite toppings; they are not limited to those on this list:) 17. For the last touches, sprinkle a few pinches of salt on top.

    Step 6: Baking the Pizza

    18. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius)19. For a golden brown and crispy crust, bake for about 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy; bake for a little longer if you want an even crispier crust. 20. Allow the pizza to cool for 5 minutes before cutting into it.

Making the Dough for Copycat Pizza Hut Stuffed-Crust Pizza

    1. To get the buttery texture of Pizza Hut stuffed-crust dough, replace part of the olive oil that is recommended for in most recipes with melted butter, as directed by the manufacturer.
    2. Use a few teaspoons of melted butter to cover the surface of the dough after it has been flattened out if using store-bought.
    3. Before placing the pizza in the oven, you can optionally spritz it with butter spray around the rim of the pan.
    4. A sprinkle of garlic powder, onion powder, and/or sugar is called for in a number of imitation bread dough recipes.
    5. In addition to the spices, you may use 12 ounces of warm beer to replace some of the liquid content in the recipe.
    • A homogeneous thickness of dough should be achieved, with enough overhang area along the rim to provide a flourish of overhang.
    • To avoid having too much thickness at the sides and not enough thickness in the centre, it is OK to use a rolling pin to shape the dough.

    3. Others make their own blends by including cheeses such as provolone, fontina, and Asiago into the mix.
    4. Using your fingers, tuck the excess dough over and around the cheese, making sure there are no gaps as you do so.
    5. If you want a more secure seal, you can use a pastry crimper.

Leaky Cheese and What to Do About It

    1. The crunch and chew of the crust are expected when you bite into the rim of a loaded pizza.
    2. A little explosion of melted cheese, combined with the crunch and chew of the dough are also expected.
    3. What a lovely mouthful of textures and flavors that have been melded together.
    4. as well as the disappointment of discovering nothing but a hollowed-out shell with a pitiful trickle of scorched cheese pooled beneath it.
    5. Melting cheese can pour out of the pizza from both the exterior and the interior.
    • In either case, you have failed to achieve your goal.
    • The cheese that oozes toward the center of the pizza can carry toppings with it, erupting like lava from Mount Vesuvius before breaking down and leaking through the core of the pie.
    • Cheese that escapes from the outside rim of the pizza just hardens and becomes a solid material that may be peeled off but is not enjoyable to eat as is.
    • It’s possible that thinner is better.

The pressure of steam that builds up inside the crust as it heats up can be increased if the cheese is excessively thick, which raises the chance of the crust bursting and releasing its contents.According to rumors, Pizza Hut itself utilizes cheese with a ″limited melt.″

Prick the crust a few places all around its perimeter to enable steam to escape and prevent it from rising.

Reduce the amount of water used to prepare your dough by around 10% if you want to reduce the amount of steam.

Consider chilling the cheese ahead of time, which will help the dough to firm up more throughout the cooking process before the cheese begins to melt and become mushy.

    Stuffed Grilled-Cheese Pizza

    1. Pizza with a cheese-stuffed crust and tomato sauce, according to some, is the finest flavor combination on the planet.
    2. A grilled-cheese sandwich with a cup of tomato soup is second on the list, followed by a cheese-stuffed crust with tomato sauce.
    3. Pizza Hut created a pie that combines the best of both worlds with their grilled-cheese, stuffed-crust pizza, which is available nationwide.
    4. To create a fair imitation, load the crust with cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella cheese in part of the process.
    5. Preparing your pizza sauce with the seasonings you like to use in soup is a good idea.
    • Immediately before baking, spread melted butter over the rim of the pan and press toasted breadcrumbs on top to give it the essential toasty crunch before baking.

    Pizza Hut

    1. The loaded crust from Pizza Hut is my absolute favorite crust ever!
    2. Pizza Hut is the world’s largest chain pizzeria restaurant with an Italian-American menu that includes some pretty delicious pan pizza, Detroit-style pizza (deep dish), and filled crust.
    3. Pizza Hut is owned by the McDonald’s Corporation.
    4. The pizza business was founded in 1958 by two brothers in Wichita, Kansas, and it was legally franchised in 1959, and it has continued to grow since then.
    5. Invented in the spring of 1995, the filled crust pizza has grown in popularity ever since.
    • It is a huge pizza for good reason.
    • Because the cheese pizza border will be wrapped around a cylinder stick of mozzarella string cheese along the edges of the crust, the pizza dough is stretched slightly larger to allow for the border to be wrapped around it.
    • Talk about a mouth-watering treat!
    • In addition to Pizza Hut, frozen Digiorno, Papa John’s, and Little Caesars also provide filled crust pizza with their own unique spin.

Making Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust Pizza At Home

    1. It took some time for me to figure out how to make the filled crust pizza again.
    2. If you follow my Instagram page, you’ll know that I’ve attempted it but haven’t actually released the recipe since I didn’t think it was quite ready.
    3. I’m not sure why.
    4. My method was perfected after viewing several videos and even discovering an old Pizza Hut Training Video from 1988, but the dough has to taste just like Pizza Hut’s to be really authentic.
    5. Fortunately, after many trial and error, I eventually came up with a formula that worked!
    • It is critical that you carefully follow all of my recommendations in order to create the ultimate filled crust pizza recipe similar to Pizza Hut.
    • A Docker Wheel and a Perforated Pizza Pan will be required in order to create the authentic imitation.

How To Make Stuffed Crust Pizza

    1. To begin, prepare this simple homemade pizza dough recipe.
    2. There are no shortcuts here because it was created particularly for a filled crust pizza.
    3. I’m aware that you can buy one or create one in a matter of minutes.
    4. Although it is not necessary, I strongly advise you to prepare the dough at least one day ahead of time for cold proofing.
    5. It makes a significant impact and is exactly how I tried this recipe with good results.
    • Once the dough has fermented in the refrigerator, it transforms into a soft ball of dough that becomes flexible.
    • Consequently, Pizza Hut’s Stuffed crust is sweeter than other pizzas, and my recipe replicates this flavor profile.
    • A good grade mozzarella cheese is required in order to construct your own filled crust pizza at home.
    • I’m referring to a true block of low-moisture part-skim mozzarella that you can grate at home with a box grater and soft string cheese sticks, rather than a shredded version (Frigo brand).

It is best to avoid pre-shredded cheeses until your cheese is completely coated with toppings since they include cellulose powder, which helps to prevent the cheese grates from clinging and eventually drying up the cheese.Prepare homemade tomato sauce, or purchase a sweet and rich marinara sauce from the grocery, before continuing.Keep in mind that Pizza Hut’s marinara sauce is sweet; don’t settle for a watery-based tomato sauce; it needs to be thick and sweet in order to complement the sauce (Priano brand from Aldi is good.) Additionally, consider purchasing a Docker Wheel to use for punching holes in your pizza dough! This wheel is used by Pizza Hut to manufacture its pie, and it helps to remove all of the bubbles from the dough, allowing the central pizza to bake evenly and prevent it from being too thick in the oven. Finally, coat the pizza dough with a sufficient amount of oil before and after baking to prevent the crust from drying up.

    What is Stuffed Crust Pizza?

    1. A stuffed crust pizza is made from a huge ball of pizza dough that has been stretched out to a 16-inch circular and filled with additional cheese (string cheese) along the edge of the crust, as seen in the picture.
    2. The crust is then sealed and covered in the same manner as a traditional pizza, except that the dough is loaded with more cheese.
    3. The holes in the pizza dough will be pierced with a docker wheel, which will prevent the dough from rising excessively during the baking process.
    4. If you want to replicate the taste of Pizza Hut’s filled crust pizza at home, use aand soybean oil to prepare it.

    • The best way to enjoy Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust is with superior toppings! If you want to make supreme pizza in a hurry, simply eliminate the pork and beef and substitute pepperoni for the meat. Even if you decide to go vegetarian, I recommend that you consume mushrooms, green bell peppers, and red onion. Using dried active yeast, granulated sugar, salt, dry milk (a dough enhancer), warm water, olive oil, and bread flour, this homemade pizza dough is created.
    • A thick and delicious marinara sauce is used for the tomato sauce
    • Pizza is made with mozzarella cheese, which should be a low moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese with a mild flavor. Pre-shredded cheese may contain cellulose, which is an anti-caking chemical that helps prevent caking.
    • Toppings- Stuffed crust pizza with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, green bell peppers, white button mushrooms, and sliced purple onions is one of my favorite pizza combinations. Yum
    • Oil- before baking, liberally lubricate the pizza pan and crust with any pleasantly flavored oil of your choice. In order to get the signature-looking Pizza Hut Crust, I will additionally sprinkle more oil onto the crust after baking it.

How To Make Stuffed Crust Pizza Step-By-Step?

The process of making homemade filled crust pizza is less complicated than you would believe! See my entire photo instruction in the recipe box for more information.

    1. To make the pizza dough, combine the yeast, sugar, salt, dry milk, water, and oil in a large mixing bowl. Using a stand mixer, combine the ingredients and knead in the flour. Knead for 3 to 5 minutes.
    2. Form the dough into a ball and place it in a freezer bag that has been buttered. Place the container in the refrigerator and let it proof overnight.
    3. To prepare the pizza, remove the proofed pizza dough from the fridge and allow it to rest on the counter for 5 minutes before using. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a 16-inch diameter circle. Transfer the dough to a 16-inch perforated pizza pan that has been oiled. Place 8 pieces of string cheese around the edge of the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edge to seal the pizza. Bring the dough over the string cheese and squeeze the dough together to bind the cheese in place.
    4. Run a docker wheel around the middle of the pizza to make it look more appealing.
    5. Spread the marinara sauce on the pizza and then pile on the toppings.
    6. Bake at 500°F for 8 minutes, brushing the crust with oil in the meanwhile.

Chef’s Tip: After the pizza has been baked, brush the dough with oil to give it that distinctive Pizza Hut appearance!

    What Temperature To Bake Pizza?

    1. Commercial pizzerias heat their ovens to temperatures beyond 500°F in order to keep up with the demands of a fast-paced workplace.
    2. Pizza Hut employs a conveyer belt oven, which bakes a pizza in a short amount of time.
    3. To your advantage, you may create the same effect by baking a pizza at home on the highest oven temperature setting possible.
    4. Make sure to pre-heat the oven to at least 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
    5. In addition to saving time and money by not requiring a pizza stone or other special equipment, baking pizza at a high temperature can produce better results.
    • Investing in a perforated pizza pan will yield the greatest results when it comes to packed crust.

What Oil To Use For Stuffed Crust Pizza?

Soybean oil is a flavorless cooking oil that is utilized across Pizza Hut restaurants. I used sunflower oil, and the results were great. Cooking oil will be required for a variety of tasks, including greasing the pizza pan, coating the crust, and proving the pizza dough.

How To Seal A Stuffed Crust Pizza?

    • A few helpful hints will be required to prepare a filled crust pizza recipe that doesn’t seep out on you while you’re cooking it. Make a huge 16-inch circle out of the pizza dough by stretching it out. The size does matter—any smaller and the dough will be too thick
    • any larger and the dough will be too thin.
    • Remove 1 inch of the pizza dough from its edge and place the string cheese around the edge to create a border. Making use of the leftover dough, fold it over the top of the string cheese and squeeze it down into the crust
    • use to penetrate the dough and prevent it from expanding in the oven. The Docker Wheel is used by Pizza Hut and Papa John’s when they make pizzas. This will also help to squeeze down the seam that was used to shut the string cheese.
    • Pizza Hut’s Original Stuffed Crust Pizza is cooked in a perforated pan, just like the original. Before usage, make sure the surface is sufficiently greased.

    Can You Freeze Pizza Dough?

    1. Although uncooked pizza dough can be frozen, it is recommended that you increase the amount of yeast by an additional teaspoon.
    2. Freezing pizza dough can occasionally cause the yeast to become inactive, which is why it’s crucial to consume it within a month after making it.
    3. Pour the dough ball onto a piece of parchment freezer paper and flash freeze it to keep the dough from rising.
    4. Transfer the mixture to a freezer bag and store in the freezer for up to one month.
    5. Instructions for reheating: Thaw the product fully before using.

    Storing Leftovers?

    • Pizza is tastiest when it is served immediately after it has been taken out of the oven. Having leftovers is a breeze since they reheat beautifully in three different ways. Bake for 7-8 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in a preheated oven until crisp
    • To heat, microwave on high for 30 seconds at a time until hot
    • Add all of the ingredients to a preheated pan and cover until fully heated

Comment and rate your method of reheating pizza!

    Troubleshooting Yeast:

    • Baking using yeast is a simple process. If you want to be sure your yeast is active, simply dissolve it in warm water and sugar before using it. If the mixture does not froth, this indicates that the yeast did not activate and is thus likely to be faulty. Warm water should be used to activate the yeast. In order to ferment the dough for many days in the refrigerator, use cold water
    • however, if you do not want to store the pizza dough and instead plan to bake it right away, increase the yeast by one teaspoon.
    • Hot water should not be used since it might destroy the yeast.
    • The water should be between 95 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Always start by dissolving dried yeast in a liquid.

What To Serve With Stuffed Crust pizza?

    Who Has Stuffed Crust Pizza?

Papa John’s, Little Caesars, and Pizza Hut are some of the pizza restaurants that serve filled crust pizza. Red Baron and Digiorno filled crust pizza are two examples of frozen options available at the grocery store. However, stuffed cheesy bread is available as an alternative to stuffed crust pizza at the moment at Dominos Pizza.

    Who invented Stuffed Crust Pizza?

    1. Patty Scheibmeir, a former food scientist at Pizza Hut, came up with the idea when she wanted to make the crust more appealing after individuals left the crust out on a plate after eating pizza.
    2. The packed crust was introduced by Pizza Hut on March 25, 1995.
    3. There have been suggestions that the packed crust was devised by someone other than Pizza Hut prior to the company’s founding.
    4. Pizza Hut, on the other hand, has been quite well-known since its founding.

     Stuffed Crust Pizza Tips:

    1. Stretch the pizza dough to a 16-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Set aside a 1-inch border around the outside edge of the dough, then arrange 8 string cheese slices along the perimeter of the dough. Seal
    2. Keep the crust from leaking out by using a sealant. Furthermore, it prevents the central pizza dough from expanding in the oven.
    3. Before and after baking, brush the crust with oil to get the distinctive Pizza Hut appearance.
    4. For the pizza sauce, use a sweet marinara sauce that has been reduced in sugar.
    5. When shopping for mozzarella cheese, look for a block that is soft and low in moisture. For a filled crust, I do not advocate using an uncooked fresh ball of mozzarella cheese since it might leak additional moisture.

Equipment To Make Stuffed Crust Pizza:

    • Perforated Pizza Pan– to use for baking the pizza dough (similar to what you might see at Pizza Hut)
    • Docker Wheel– to prevent the dough from puffing up in unexpected spots.
    • Bake with a pastry brush to brush the crust with oil, or sprinkle oil over the crust with a squeezable bottle.
