Best Pizza Cutters at a Glance
What to Consider When Buying a Pizza Cutter
Check that the pizza cutter you’re considering is the best fit for your needs, available storage space, and price range before you click ″add to cart.″
Types of Pizza Cutters
- Wheeled Pizza Cutter: This is most likely what comes to mind when you think about pizza cutters. The narrow sharp wheel can be mounted on an axle or enclosed in a handle, depending on the application. Pizza cutter wheels provide you the greatest amount of control over how you slice your pie. Aside from that, they take up very little room in a kitchen drawer.
- Mezzelune/Rocking Blade Cutters: Mezzelune/Rocking Blade Cutters are a type of rocking blade cutter. In these cutters, a huge, half-moon shaped cutting knife with grips on both sides is used to slice through the fruit and vegetables. Rocking the knife back and forth over the pizza is how it slices it from one end to the other, as the name says. Cutting a full pizza across the middle is arguably the quickest method of doing it. The only disadvantage is that it might be difficult and bulky to store.
- Scissors: Don’t knock anything ’til you’ve tried it, as the saying goes. This approach explains the meaning of the term. Because the scissors attack the pizza from both sides, there isn’t a pizza task that they can’t complete successfully. Even though they might be a bit difficult to clean, the most of the time they are dishwasher safe.

- It’s easy to wash and it’s durable.″ This simple-to-use pizza cutter fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, allowing you to keep complete control over the ultra shade blade as it smoothly cuts through the pizza crust.
- When it comes to cleaning, all of the pieces dismantle and may be thrown in the dishwasher if you’re not sure how to handle it by hand.
- This is the one and only pizza cutting tool you’ll ever require (although it can do much more than just cut pizza).

- ″I don’t require as much pressure when cutting, so the box doesn’t get ripped to shreds.
- I was apprehensive that it might be too huge to fit into the large pizza box, however it does not have this problem.

- ″These pizza scissors are just great.
They are sharp and make it simple and comfortable to cut the pizza. They are solid and well-constructed, and they appear to be built to endure a long time. This design keeps your hands above the hot pizza, preventing you from getting hot cheese on your hands or getting sauce all over your hands as you’re eating it.
- In addition, the footed feature on the bottom of the lower blade is one of my favorites.
- Because the pizza is still hot, we can cut it directly on top of our granite countertop without having to worry about the scissors damaging the surface.″ Dreamfarm Scizza is available for purchase on Amazon for $36.

It provided us with enough food for two dinners. It’s odd, we didn’t even touch it for breakfast, which is unusual.I used the air fryer to reheat slices of bread for supper, which I highly suggest. The URL to my air fryer is provided below. When you bake it this way, the crust becomes crispy again, and the pie tastes as if it has just been taken out of the oven again.

What Is Breakfast Pizza?
What was formerly considered one of America’s favorite cuisines is quickly becoming one of the country’s favorite breakfast foods. Many of us desire a good start to the day in the morning, but breakfast does not have to be confined to typical cuisine such as cereal, eggs, yogurt, and pancakes, among other things. The distinction between what we eat at various mealtimes is becoming increasingly blurred, which makes morning pizzas the ideal way to start your day.
What is a breakfast pizza?
The short answer is that it can be anything you want it to be.When you get down to it, pizza is comprised of a crust, sauce, and toppings.Cheese and sauce can even be optional.
- Crusts are especially versatile.
- Sure, you can use a standard pizza crust.
- But bagels, flatbreads, biscuits, and more can serve as a tasty base for your pizza.
(We’ll mention some other options below.) That’s the wonderful thing about pizza: Every component is completely customizable. However you choose to change it up or stick to the basics—whether you want to pounce on pepperoni or feast on fruit—you can find or make an amazing breakfast pizza to start your day, your way.For example, in 2017, 7-Eleven added hot, ready-to-eat breakfast pizzas to their menu.
- Instead of what you might envision at your favorite pizza place, their breakfast pizza’s toppings, sauce, and crust were reminiscent of a diner breakfast platter.
- The pizza started with a flaky biscuit crust, swapped tomato sauce for peppered cream gravy, and was topped with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, scrambled eggs, hickory-smoked ham, breakfast sausage, and smoked bacon.
How is breakfast pizza different from regular pizza?
The most significant distinction between breakfast pizza and regular pizza is that breakfast pizza is pizza that is consumed in the morning..It’s simply that straightforward. After all, breakfast items are becoming increasingly accessible throughout the day.

Breakfast pizza ideas
The possibilities for morning pizza are unlimited, whether you want something sweet or something savory, are vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or adhere to any other dietary choice or limitation. Don’t be afraid to raid your leftovers, however. Here are ten suggestions to help you ″pizzafy″ your morning meal.
Cereal, fruit, and yogurt
Cereal is created from a variety of grains, including wheat, barley, and oats, among others.Incorporate your favorite cereal or granola into the crust of your pizza for a unique twist. The cereal will provide crunch, texture, and a hint of sweetness to your dish, which you can easily compliment or counter with a variety of sweet or savory toppings.
- You’ve successfully changed your beloved yogurt breakfast bowl into pizza by adding a yogurt sauce and your favorite fruit on top.
Pancake
Prepare a pancake bar for your team breakfast, complete with spreads such as Greek yogurt and a variety of nut butters, as well as toppings such as sliced fruit, cinnamon, whipped cream, and other options.
Hash
Prepare breakfast-themed toppings for a create-your-own pizza party at the workplace, such as hashbrowns (you can even use fried hash to form the crust for a gluten-free alternative), fried or scrambled eggs, crumbled sausage and bacon, sliced ham, sautéed peppers, mushrooms, and onions.
Chickpeas
Chickpeas are packed with nutrients, ranging from fiber and protein to high concentrations of vitamins B6 and magnesium, to name a few. A fried egg, some tomatoes, and baby spinach are the perfect accompaniment to roasted or sautéed chickpeas, whether you’re topping a pizza with them or making a chickpea flatbread like this.
Pita
Pizza is essentially a topped flatbread at its heart.Instead of using a traditional pizza crust, such as a thick or thin crust, you may use any flatbread, such as naan, lavash, or pita, to serve as the basis for your pizza creation.Instead of packing the pita pocket with meat and vegetables, place them directly on top of the pita.
- Fresh herbs, pesto, stewed tomatoes, spinach, and fried eggs combine to create a flavorful, palate-pleasing dish.
- Add a dash of chilli flakes to the dish to make it more interesting.
Blueberry cheesecake
Are you a fan of blueberry cheesecake? This classic dessert can also serve as an inspiration for a fruit-forward morning pizza. The ″sauce″ is made out of orange juice, blueberries, and any sweetener you choose (such as honey or maple syrup). Starting with a whole-wheat crust, this sweet pizza is topped with whipped cream cheese that has been infused with lemon juice and lemon zest.
Bacon ’n eggs
The ever-popular breakfast dish makes the transition from the plate to the pie plate. It’s important to maintain scrambled eggs on the soft side when adding them to pizza so they don’t overcook and become rubbery. To add an artistic touch, crumble the bacon or place slices in rows or patterns on top of the dish.
- The salty, delicious enjoyment of bacon and eggs is enhanced when served with a cheesy sauce, which is very effective.
The salad
Vegetables can be used in every aspect of a morning pizza, including the dough. Sliced mushrooms lend a rich umami flavor to this dish. Tomatoes provide a burst of vivid, juicy sweetness. Even leafy greens such as arugula wilt and burn in the oven, imparting a savory depth to the dish.
Avocado
The ever-adaptable avocado is the pizza partner you didn’t realize you were missing until now.Instead of using tomato sauce for pizza sauce, mashed avocado can be combined with lemon juice, extra-virgin olive oil, and garlic to create a delicious sauce.Spread pesto-style on your pizza dough, then top with mozzarella and extra toppings to taste.
- Alternatively, you may make a nutritious green cheese sauce by beating avocado with a soft cheese such as goat cheese until it is smooth.
- While your pizza is baking, you may slice or dice an avocado to serve alongside it.
- Place the avocado on your pizza once it has been allowed to cool somewhat before slicing.
Apple streusel
Do you prefer a sweeter topping on your favorite piece of pizza? Baked apples, a sweet streusel, and a vanilla glaze come together to create a delicate crunch that is perfect for a sweet start to the morning.
Pizza … it’s the most important meal of the day
While pizza has historically been considered a supper or lunch dish — as well as a food for celebrations, business excursions, or a movie or game night — that mentality is rapidly changing. With these suggestions, you can have pizza for morning!

Breakfast Pizza
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/2013The crescent rolls provide for a flaky crust that is delicious. It was baked in a 9 x 13-inch casserole pan.It didn’t necessarily taste like pizza, but it did have a similar texture.
- It may use a little kick, like some green chiles or spicy sauce, to make it more interesting.
- It was quite enjoyable.
- I threw in some diced ham and bacon chunks for good measure.
My children even ate some of it.In fact, I believe I used more eggs than the recipe asked for, as 5 seemed insufficient. In addition, it takes a little longer to cook than the recipe indicates on the label.
- This is convenient since you may incorporate a variety of various ingredients or vegetables into it.
- You could add anything you wanted in an omelet on top of this dish.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars Nice breakfast meal served with a fruit salad on November 13, 2012.
- Very simple and delicious!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 01/03/2014 I didn’t have a pizza pan, so I used a 9 x 13 casserole dish to bake it instead.
- As a result, it came out looking more like a casserole.
- Following the advice of others, I increased the number of eggs used (to a total of 7) and added green pepper, black olives, and bacon pieces.
- It turned out well and gave the impression that I was eating an omelet with potatoes and a biscuit (oh yeah, I used biscuits instead of crescent rolls).
- Because one piece was full, I sliced it into six pieces and now I have breakfast for the next several mornings all prepared and ready to be re-heated in the microwave.
Likewise, my partner like it, and he recommends serving it with some spicy sauce or salsa to add a bit more flavor and heat to the dish.Oh, and I used chicken sausage, which worked out well.Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 10/12/2012This is a favorite in the family!Rating: 4 out of 5 stars It was delicious with chopped onion and tomato, which I added on January 16th.I omitted the hash browns from the recipe since I dislike them.Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 12/18/2012I have a pizza stone and a pizza pan with holes in the bottom, both of which are incompatible with this dish’s cooking method.
As a result, I opted to use an oblong casserole dish, which turned out to be an excellent choice.Even though I made a few mistakes with the layering, the final result was still pleasing.I had a fantastic breakfast casserole for dinner, which was just amazing.Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 11/22/2015 We spiced up the sausage mixture by adding spinach and green onions, as well as a few other ingredients.
We had to cook it for an additional 8 minutes to get the brine on the top!It was very excellent!Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 05/08/2018 Every time I prepare this dish, the kids go crazy over it.My variation consists of handmade dough that has been flattened out on a baking stone.Sausage gravy, hash browns, mushrooms, onions, eggs, sausage, and cheese are all served with this dish.
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/2014I prepared this meal for breakfast today and was dissatisfied with the results. It would have been better if I hadn’t included the eggs in the first place.Rating: 4 out of 5 stars The crust was a disaster (hey, it was my first time making a crust!) on February 16th, 2019.
Now I’m aware of the need of conserving water. The green pepper was sliced and included since I needed to get rid of the pepper I had.I ended up not being able to finish it all, so I simply stored the leftovers in the refrigerator and reheated them whenever I felt like it during the week.It was very excellent!Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/2019 This is just fantastic!I was successful on both occasions.
The first time, as directed by the recipe, and the second time, with diced onions and bell pepper added. The process of cooking it with the additions takes a bit longer, but the end result has a somewhat distinct flavor. Both are fantastic!
Rating: 2 out of 5 stars 03/07/2017 This was a recipe that I had difficulty with.A single box of crescent rolls was insufficient. It was because the crescent rolls were not properly sealed that the egg mixture seeped out.If this had been prepared in a glass baking dish with sides, it might not have spilled as much.
The flavor was pleasant.Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 05/30/2018 I modified the pizza dough to a refrigerated yeast pizza crust to make it more substantial.Even though the pizza was delectable, it definitely could have used more eggs and a method of keeping them in the dough.I think the next time I make it, I’ll pre-mix at least the cheese and the eggs, and maybe even the hash browns, and then layer them on top of the sausage in the crust before baking it.It’s possible to include some crumbled bacon.Had a hankering for these ever since the local grocery store that used to prepare them in-house closed its doors.
- So, all in all, I was a very content camper!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/2015Overall, this is a decent recipe.
- Because I didn’t have a pizza pan, it ended up becoming a casserole.
- Absolutely filling, with lots of leftovers to share.
- I’m thinking about experimenting with chorizo and green chilies next time.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 30/05/2018This recipe was simple to prepare and a hit with my guys.
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 05/19/2019This was a great experience for my family.I made adjustments based on my own preferences and the ingredients I had on hand.Because that was the only thing I had on hand, I substituted hot italian sausage for the morning sausage.Because I didn’t have any Parmesan on hand, I used cheddar.I also used green onions in the recipe.
- What I enjoyed about this dish was how simple it was to modify it to meet my vegetarian requirements.
- I just omitted the sausage from a little piece of the meal for myself.
- I’ll include mushrooms in my vegetarian portion the next time I make it.
- The crescent roll crust was moist and delicious.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 12/29/2014 This will be perfect for our Christmas morning breakfast!
- It was a hit with my family!
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 05/30/2018 My family acted as if I had slaved away all morning, despite the fact that I had done nothing.Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 05/14/2020 This is something that both my hubby and I like.Instead of 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, I used a half teaspoon white pepper to make up the difference.
In addition, I substituted mozzarella cheese for the cheddar.Simply begin by selecting a preference.Rating: 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/2017 It’s a little uninteresting.Because eggs have a tendency to run, I drilled holes in the cheese mixture and put the eggs in.I recommend skipping the hash browns and replacing them with spinach and mushrooms.
- adding a little of fried bacon on top in the last 10 minutes of cooking time Rating: 5 out of 5 stars I’ve been cooking this identical recipe for my family Christmas morning breakfast for the past 13 years.
- 05/25/2018 (not sure where I got it from originally.) Despite the negative feedback, I found it to be effective (when used with a pizza pan – everyone, run out and get one!) Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 05/30/2018Delicious Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 03/05/2017 I threw up some chopped onions and red, yellow, and orange peppers for color.
- Pillsbury pizza dough was used in this recipe.
- There was a search for whole wheat dough, but there was no such thing.
- Cook the dough for 5 – 8 minutes before adding the toppings, and make sure your pan has enough depth to accommodate the toppings.
- It was simple to prepare, and everyone enjoyed it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 07/28/2013 The best of all time!
- Additionally, it is simple.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 06/27/2018 It will be made in a pan with sides next time because there wasn’t enough crescent dough to form a 1 1/2″ rim on the first time, and part of the eggs spilled over the edge and cooked on the bottom of the oven.
- The rest of the family, on the other hand, adored it!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 05/31/2018 You can’t go wrong with this one.
- Great.
- Keep an eye on the baking time.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars 05/08/2017 Pretty excellent, actually.
- Even though it was successful and fascinating, I’m not sure I’d make it again.
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 05/29/2018 Everything was perfect since I followed the recipe exactly as it was stated. My family loved it!Because the pizza pan was only 14 inches in diameter, I had a little trouble getting the rolls to fit evenly in the pan.As a result, I just used a baking dish. It’s something I’ll definitely cook again.Rating: 3 out of 5 stars 04/24/2018The egg leaked out of the crust as it cooked and rose throughout baking and raising.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars On January 18th, 2013, I made this delicious and simple supper.
- My teenage daughter and her friends enjoy it even more when the ″veggie crumbles″ are used in place of the sausage for a no-meat alternative to the traditional dish.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 03/28/2017 It was a delicious breakfast alternative, and the kids enjoyed it as well.
- I browned the beef the night before to reduce the amount of time I had to spend cooking in the morning.
- This is a recipe that we will definitely cook again.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 03/13/2020I used a small rectangular pan to bake pizza dough that I had rolled out.
The hashbrowns and dough were baked until lightly browned before the rest of the ingredients were added to the pan.For a vegetarian pizza, replace the sausage with bacon or mushrooms.Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/2020 I cooked this for a breakfast baby shower that I was hosting.Guests inquired about the recipe. The recipe was also tested on my family a few days earlier, and they were thrilled with the results. The ingredients were Italian sausage, onions, and yellow and red peppers.
The dish was simple to create using pantry staples and is quite adaptable – simply change a variety of vegetables or add another meat to make it your own.The taste was not overpoweringly ″eggy,″ as other recipes are.Next time, I’ll make it using turkey sausage, plenty of vegetables, and low-fat cheese to cut down on the fat level of the dish.Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 05/24/2018I made the crust with the hash browns that I had leftover.Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 05/28/2018 Instead of sausage, bacon was used.
Aside from that, I had a larger pizza pan so I doubled the recipe. It’s a perfect fit.I would have added a bit extra cheese if I could have.
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/2018It was a big hit with the youngsters!Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 06/06/2018I had some portabella mushrooms that had been left over.As a result, I put them on.It was a fantastic experience.
- Making it again this weekend and on a regular basis.
- Thanks Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 07/16/2017 I prepared it with pizza dough that I shaped out into a complete pizza and then baked on a pizza stone until golden brown.
- I omitted the sausage and cooked my own hashbrowns from scratch, instead of buying them.
- Onion, tomato and cilantro were chopped and added to the dish.
- It turned out fantastic!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 07/11/2016I followed the advice and added the extra eggs.
- Because my pizza pan does not have any sides, I used a greased 9×13 glass dish.
- I’m glad I raised the margins a little higher since it does cover the space quite a bit.
- The crust got a touch too brown since I had to cook it longer for the eggs, but my son, who has braces, felt it was a fantastic meal to have for his sore mouth while he was eating it.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars 01/12/2017 Due to the fact that the dough does not hold together, it is difficult to work with, and fat from the sausage can seep through and cause the bottom to burn.
- Although it tastes good, the crescent roll dough is a pain to work with.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars 05/31/2018 This was a quick and simple dish to prepare.
- I would, however, use Pillsbury’s pizza dough in the future since I was unable to obtain a sufficient edge on the crescent rolls to prevent the egg from overflowing out of the crust the first time.
- The pizza was a hit with everyone.

Mama Cozzi’s Biscuit Crust Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Pizza
Depending on your own preferences, you may or may not consider pizza to be a suitable breakfast option. However, some dietitians believe that it is not the worst idea.Aldi has already experimented with a variety of unique morning dishes, including a refrigerated take-and-bake breakfast pizza and a frozen breakfast pizza.
- Take-and-bake pizzas, such as the Mama Cozzi’s Biscuit Crust Sausage Cheese Breakfast Pizza, are not recommended for this recipe.
- In this case, it’s a frozen pizza that can be found in the Special Buy (ALDI Find) area of the supermarket.
- The 12′′ pizza was $3.99 at the time of writing this post.
The pizza is made with a biscuit crust, as suggested by the name.A mixture of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses are sprinkled on top, and the dish is finished with sausage.Instead of tomato sauce, country gravy is used to make this pizza.
- The standard cooking instructions are included.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees, keeping the pizza frozen throughout the process.
- The frozen pizza should go immediately on the middle rack of the oven.
- (We made use of a pizza crisper for this.) Bake the pizza for 22-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted in the center and the dough is golden brown on the bottom.
- The instructions also state that you should not consume the pizza before it is baked, and that you should wait until the pizza has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees before eating it.
- Instructions for cooking.
- (Click on the image to expand it.) There is one more recommendation included in the recipe, which is to top the pizza with scrambled eggs.
- We took advantage of the opportunity, whipping up some Goldhen Eggs to serve as a garnish for our pie.
- Mama Cozzi’s is topped with Goldhen Eggs, a delicacy from Italy.
(Click on the image to expand it.) We were rather taken aback.Despite the fact that it was a frozen pizza, the different components, from the country gravy to the sausage and cheese, were all of high quality. Also, the inclusion of scrambled eggs is a little touch that should not be neglected — the eggs offer a delightful additional layer of flavor to the pizza and elevate it to a new level of excellence.(It also gives the pizza a bit more heft, because it isn’t particularly large.) There are a couple of cautions. For starters, this pizza is not a healthy option.Information about the nutritional value.
You should only watch at your own risk.(Click on the image to expand it.) One slice of pizza — and remember, this is not a large pizza — has 410 calories, 23 grams of fat, and 700 milligrams of salt per serving. To put it another way, two slices of pizza have enough saturated fat to satisfy 100 percent of the daily recommended intake. When we sliced the pizza into eight slices (the nutrition information is based on one-fifth of a pizza, but who cuts their pizza into five pieces?) we each ate two slices, so if you’re like us, you may anticipate your nutrient information to be a little higher, as two slices is one-fourth of a pizza.
It should be noted that even after adding the eggs, those two slices were not enough to satisfy our hunger. However, the eggs are not included in any of those nutritional calculations.
The Verdict:
It’s hard to beat Mama Cozzi’s Biscuit Crust Sausage Cheese Breakfast Pizza when it comes to flavor, especially when it’s topped with some scrambled eggs. It’s also quite harmful to your health, and at 12 inches in length, it’s not particularly enormous. It’s a tasty treat, but it’s also a meal that should only be had once in a while…
- which is presumably why it’s only available at ALDI Finds.

Think Twice Before You Buy Pizza From Aldi
Sean Gallup is a photographer for Getty Images.Despite the fact that Aldi has a longstanding reputation for giving the finest discounts to its army of knowledgeable buyers, it is difficult to understand how the German supermarket has managed to take over the United States, Europe, and pretty much every country on the world.Aldi aficionados get together online to discuss their must-have goods, quick finds, and everything else in between.
- Those in the know often receive even better prices than the general public, but when you see the famous orange, yellow, and blue sign, you know your wallet is in good hands no matter where you are.
- Although Aldi is a one-stop shop for all of your family’s staples, from dairy products to household items, it is not your one-stop shop for all of your shopping needs.
- As a matter of fact, there are a few things that you’d be better off purchasing elsewhere in order to save money and worry in the long (and short) run.
And, as dreadful as that may seem, one of those products may be a slice of cheese pizza.
Pizza from Aldi is reasonably priced
Shutterstock Take-and-bake pizzas from Aldi’s own brand, Mama Cozzi’s, are available with a range of various toppings, with The Kitchn stating that you can select from staples such as pepperoni, sausage, and five different cheese variations.Additionally, Aldi Finds, which are a little more unique and only available for a limited time (although they may be added to the rotation if they prove to be popular enough), are available. For example, the cheeseburger pizza is topped with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, hamburger patt
