    I was contacted by his son, John Bender, who informed me that his father was in good health and was able to travel around rather well for his age.In the course of trading emails, John revealed that he had previously resided in Texas, where he had established a number of Pizza Hut locations.I was fortunate enough to be able to pay a visit to John’s father, along with my kid, not long ago.It was a wonderful visit.

    On that trip, I was also meant to meet up with John in person, but that didn’t work out.I’m hoping to be able to do so on our next vacation to the east coast.After my initial email with John Bender, I spent some time researching the history of Pizza Hut in preparation for a blog article I was writing at the time.
